Gallery One

In 2021, Bernalillo County's administrative offices moved from City Hall to Alvarado Square. This move created an opportunity to update and renovate multiple areas in City Hall.

During the renovations, Mayor Tim Keller prioritized the creation of an art gallery in City Hall when planning the first floor renovations. The new City Hall art gallery - Gallery One - is a place where art and culture can be front and center, both in perception and in terms of feeling, when people come to City Hall.

The goals and mission of Gallery One is to foster an intersection between artists as well as the arts community, the public, and city government that serves as an accessible place for community exhibitions and educational programming with rotating shows.

Gallery One opens with a City Hall Open House and Grand Opening on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 5-8 p.m.

Regular gallery hours are Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for holidays. The gallery is free and open to the public.
