Parish Announcements, Events, and Classes
| | The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. Psalm 24:1 | | | PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS/DATE REMINDER | | Please note that the email address above is incorrect. It should be frmemc@gmail.com | |
A Note from Lynda: As you may have guessed from the announcement above, I am resigning as Parish Administrator. It has been the best job I have ever had and one that I have loved. The decision to resign was not easy and one that was made after months of prayerful consideration and many conversations with my family and friends. My reasons are simple. I have been working steadily for the past 60 years and think that’s probably enough. More importantly, I want to travel while I am still healthy enough to do so.
I have so enjoyed working with Fr. Marc and the entire staff. I have been lucky to also be a parishioner and work with members of the congregation in their various roles. We have an incredible group of people in this Parish. I am not leaving. I will still be a dedicated member of the Parish of St. Luke’s. I just want to thank you for your acts of kindness too numerous to mention and for your understanding and support when I have been less than perfect.
| | Help will be needed for meal set-up and clean-up as well. Please sign on the sign-up sheet if you are able to help with either of these tasks or contact Elaine Vallecillo-Miller | | |
K-5 Meets 9:00 - 9:50 am
Parents--Please let your teacher know if your child will not be there on Sunday. That helps their teacher plan materials.
| | |
Just as a reminder: Checks for donations to Jeanne Miller MUST be made out to the Jeanne Miller Cancer Treatment Fund. They cannot be made out to St. Luke's as the church cannot be used as a pass through for funds. Checks may be given to John Euson (8:00 organist) or to the office who will give them to John or to Lynda Rowntree who attends the 10:00 service.
Many thanks to all who have donated so far.

2026 Discipleship Days
Registration is NOW OPEN
Dear Friends in Christ,
We are excited to announce that registration for the 2026 Discipleship Days is NOW OPEN!
2026 Discipleship Days are 1-day, in-person gatherings to help you learn, inspire, and connect. We are hosting 3 days: one in Scottsdale, one in Tucson, and one in Prescott. You can attend one day, or all three days, as the programming is catered to each specific region of the diocese.
Each session is $30 per person, and lunch will be provided. Childcare is available upon request.
Who should come to the Discipleship Days?
Anyone who wants to grow in their faith and learn. That includes clergy, vestry/bishop committee members, parishioners, church staff and more!
Even if you are new to the Episcopal faith, these 1 day sessions are great for you to get to know how our church works, and how to deepen your connection and discipleship with Christ.
What can I expect to learn?
Each day will begin with an opening prayer, followed by Bible study and reflection, then breakout workshops, and finally lunch. During lunch, there will be open tables with Diocesan Staff so you can ask questions and get to know the different ministries of our diocese. In the afternoon, we will gather together to hear from our keynote speaker, Andrew Stravitz, on “Telling our Stories” of faith and love. Following the keynote will be time with Bishop Reddall and a closing prayer.
For more information and to register, visit our website at azdiocese.org/discipleship or use the link below.
We can't wait to see you there!

Community Food Banks in the Quad City Area are Seeking Our Support, too!
Our food donation program, which benefits three of our area food banks, continues. This has been an on-going program (separate from the St. Luke's Food Pantry) where parishioners can donate non-perishable food items that will in turn be shared with the Prescott Community Cupboard, the Prescott Valley Food Bank, and the Chino Valley Food Bank.
Your donations of non-perishable food items may be left in the wooden box in the Parish Hall.
Thank you for your continued support of all our food donation programs!

Community Contact Lists
The administration office, along with many dedicated volunteers, has been working to update our Community Services reference lists. Many services are available here in our community for food, clothing, housing, and other needs that folks in our community may need. Download the attached lists and keep them handy so that, with your help, the ministry of St. Luke's continues beyond our front doors.

ALL ARE WELCOME!
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of the Quad-Cities seeks to create a community where we intentionally welcome all. We foster a climate of purposeful inclusion, an environment where all can feel safe, valued, cared for, and given an opportunity to form meaningful connections with each other. We cherish the diversity of humanity, a diversity that includes differences in sex, age, race, ethnicity, national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, financial means, education, and political perspective.
When we say “All are Welcome” we mean ALL.
