Intersectionality
Intersectionality provides a dynamic lens through which we can understand the struggles of our friends and neighbors and work towards a more equitable society. This framework helps us consider how our intersecting identities inform who we are and how these intersections have the potential to leave those with overlapping marginalized identities more prone to oppression than others. For example, black individuals who are also part of the LGBTQIA+ community experience the compounded discrimination that accompanies belonging to both oppressed groups.

The below resources will help us gain a deeper understanding of such intersections.
