Looking to get hitched without a hitch?

The Town of Erin is offering a unique drive-through marriage ceremony service on September 9, between 1 – 4 pm.

No appointments are necessary, but only couples that already have a valid marriage licence will be able to drive through and get married outside of Town Hall.

A civil marriage ceremony cost is $250 and for those who don’t have a licence and would like to get one, information is available on our website.

Back to School Safety

It’s that time of year again! Back-to-School season can be exciting for some and stressful for others. Here are some safety tips for drivers:

Give yourself extra time.
Watch for pedestrians. There are more kids walking, riding and getting dropped off in school zones.
Slow down. Reduce your speed and obey the signs and adhere to all school zone speed limits.
Stop for school buses. If a school bus is displaying flashing red lights and an extended stop arm, traffic in both directions must stop.
Keep your distance. School buses stop frequently, so leave some extra room.
