Greetings!

Have you voted in the This Place Matters Community Challenge yet?  We have made fantastic progress up the leader board in the past week as more people vote and ask others to vote.  This is an easy way to be $25,000 closer to raising the money Ernestina needs for repairs.  Vote today and ask all your friends to vote too. If more than one person uses your computer be sure to log out so the other person can vote with their email address.  Let's go viral with this!

Report at Commission Meeting

haulout showing fore & aft

The Coast Guard inspectors have had their first look at the ship.  The bottom has been cleaned. Shipwright Leon Poindexter and other experts have been looking at all the components of the ship as part of the estimating process.

We expect an interim report to be given to the Schooner Ernestina Commission  at the meeting on Friday. (details below)

This photo shows the clear difference between the forward part of the ship rebuilt in Boothbay 3 years ago and the stern which still needs rehabilitation.
