Community Education's Fall Brochure is now available online and in your mailboxes. Register  TODAY, August 30th  for fall Preschool, Youth, Middle and High School programs as well as our Adult offerings, including many new programs.   

In an abundance of caution, the 2nd Annual Police Chase 5K has been POSTPONED. We will provide an update when we identify a new date.

Medway Parks and Recreation is teaming up with photographer, Tim Rice . Join us as we explore the trails of Medway! Tim will instruct on composition, give photography tips, and challenge the class with a photo scavenger hunt. Cameras are optional.   First class starts on Saturday, September 7th . Register here

Are you interested in becoming a cub scout? Join Cub Scout Pack 748 on Saturday, September 7th from 10:30 a.m.-1;00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Parish Center at 145 Holliston Street. All families with children entering kindergarten thru 5th grade are welcome to stop by for fun, food and to learn more about scouts!

Come join us for our 11th annual Alex Handy 5K on Sunday, September 8th ! The race starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Medway VFW, 123 Holliston Street. The course flows through some of our local Medway neighborhoods and is a relatively flat course. Sign up by August 16th for a free long sleeve t-shirt for adult registrations. Register Here

Medway Community Education is offering two fall Pickleball sessions. What is Pickleball? Pickleball is a fun sport that combines tennis, badminton and table tennis in a fast-paced, easy-to-learn game! Join us starting Monday , September 9th for the NEW intermediate/advanced program or Wednesday , September 11th for our beginner program. Both programs will be held in the gym at the Burke-Memorial School. Registration here

Bring your kid’s love for LEGO to the big screen! Empow Studios expert instructors work with students to develop storytelling skills, learn animation software, and capture the action of their LEGO movies. After filming, students work on post-production process to add titles, transitions, sounds, and music to make their movies complete! Movies can be taken home to share with family and friends. Classes start on Tuesday, September 10th. Register here

Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Now’s your chance, let the Mass Wildlife Angler Education Program be your guide. You’ll learn the basics, from casting out, to baiting up, and the best part - you’ll actually be able to fish. So come try your hand and have some fun with Medway Parks and Recreation! Class is on Wednesday, September 11th from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at Choate Park. Register here

Are you ready to learn how to ballroom dance? In a fun and friendly environment, students will learn the Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Waltz and Swing. Mark you calendar - classes start Wednesday , September 18th . Registration  is now open. 

Love Bubbles? Learn how to make your own! This exciting program brings Bubble Education and fun into the classroom for children 4 years old and up. In this exciting one hour workshop, kids will learn how bubble solution is made, make their own bubble solution and learn how to use everyday objects to make bubbles and bubble toys. The date for this year's Community Yard Sale is Saturday, September 21st from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. If you are interested in hosting a yard sale. please fill out this online application. Applications can also be picked up at: The Town Clerk's Office, Shaws/Star Market, Charles River Bank, Middlesex Savings Bank & TC Scoops. We ask that all participates make a $10 donation. Medway Council On Aging  is planning our 4th annual Veteran's Day event. If you are a veteran, we need your help! Would you be willing to share your story with a Medway High School student? After you work one-on-one with this student, he/she will present your story at our annual event in November. Come join the FIGHT with us! A Night to Fight Cancer is being held at the Medway VFW, 123 Holliston Street on Friday, October 4th. Support a local cause while shopping at our vendor fair from 7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. There will be raffle prizes and more! All proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
