The City of Escondido welcomes Amber Tarrac as the new Deputy Director of Economic Development. Amber is a second generation San Diegan who can regularly be found riding horses on Escondido trails and enjoying Escondido’s open space, shopping, music, and dining. You may also catch her salsa dancing to live music around town.
With a master’s degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University, Amber has gained a breadth of experience in municipal management and economic development over the past 12 years at both the local and state level. Amber is committed to supporting businesses, the workforce, and contributing to a thriving community.
