There certainly seems to be an increase in traffic particularly at the 78 and 15 bottleneck every morning. And just wait for the new Kaiser hospital completion to really feel like LA. It’s not like the 78 freeway isn’t already a hot mess. It’s woefully inadequate for the current amount of traffic and there is no relief in sight, in fact it’s only going to get worse.
Six days and counting to have your voice heard by voting on the Recall. It’s important to get involved, know the issues and make an informed choice.
Thank you to Supervisor Jim Desmond for presenting at the Chamber’s September Government Affairs Meeting. Crossing district boundaries and presenting his county update followed by taking questions made for a lively meeting. Most questions centered on the homeless issue which is a growing problem for our local businesses. It’s a very sensitive issue and one that is going to take a unified comprehensive approach to address. We all play an important role in addressing this problem. We need each other on this one.
Thank you to all who attended including City Council member Tina Inscoe and Mayor Pro-tem Mike Morasco.
