Temporary Closure Due to COVID-19

Amazing Clients,
Last week, I promised to keep you up to date on any necessary changes that must be made as we work through this difficult time. Yesterday, March 19, we were mandated by the state to close our doors until April 30. It is with a heavy heart that we bid a temporary farewell to our clients and friends while we do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Effective immediately, Essence is temporarily closed for business.

My intention is to come out on the other side of this with a healthy staff and continue to take care of our clients for many years to come. None of my staff is sick at this time, and to the best of our knowledge, we have not seen any clients with symptoms or illness over the last several weeks.

We hope to re-open on Friday, May 1. Of course, this may change based on how current events progress. We will be reaching out to all clients that have an appointment scheduled within this time frame as promptly as we can. If you receive an appointment confirmation in the coming weeks, it is a glitch in our system. Rest assured; we are closed.

I believe I speak the heartfelt thoughts of countless small business owners when I say that I wanted to preserve some sort of normalcy by continuing to care for our clients, keeping my staff busy and compensated. Unfortunately, that is no longer a feasible approach in this situation. We all have an ethical responsibility to try and do our part to reduce the spread of this virus. I believe that the services we provide from salon to spa are essential in many ways. However, I know that without our health we have nothing.

If you need any homecare items, please email the salon. Sabrina and I will be in and out regularly, making sure essential tasks are taken care of. If what you need is in stock, we are happy to take payment over the phone and leave your items in a designated pick up place on the property.
