Online and Phone Mass Reservation System to Open Tuesday, May 26
St. Leonard continues planning for "The Catholic Comeback" - the restart of public weekend Masses planned for May 30-31. This will involve many major safety precautions.

Our Mass reservation system referenced in Father's column will open at 9am on Tuesday, May 26. We will send an email with the link to reserve online or you can check for it on our website at

All parishioners also will receive a 4-page St. Leonard Catholic Comeback Mass Guide by mail very soon that also will include details, including a reservation hotline phone number for people who do not have access to the internet.
Milwaukee Archbishop Jerome Listecki has directed parishes to use a "Catholic Comeback Matrix" with three phases of activity based on current health conditions and recommendations. In the link below, please focus on the column for Phase 1, which begins May 26. No one knows when Phase 2 will begin.

Adopt a High School Senior, Create Care Package
Our high school seniors will be missing a lot of memories: their last prom, yearbook signing, and most of all, their opportunity to walk the stage and receive their diploma.

We are still looking for 30 more parishioners to "adopt" a senior and create a memory to help them feel special. You would deliver a care package for one senior to St. Leonard by Sunday, May 31, and we would then take it to the student. First names and gift ideas are here: Sign Up To Adopt A High School Senior!

School Landscaping Project Completed
Our school landscaping project has been completed! St. Leonard School alumnus Ben J. coordinated and financed the effort as his Eagle Scout project. Overgrown bushes were ripped out last fall and the area was wood chipped. New plantings were placed last weekend. Thanks to Ben and his team that worked on this great improvement!
Parish Food Pantry Update For Help, Donations
People in need are invited to take needed items from tables outside the main church doors for the last time from noon to 2pm this Saturday, May 23, and Tuesday, May 26 . After Tuesday, please call the parish office to arrange a time to get food from our well-stocked Human Concerns pantry.

By the end of next week, our collection of food will move back into church as it had been before public Masses ended. Items may be dropped off before Masses. Please do not leave food outside the church doors when the bin is removed - animals will find it!
Thanks for your past generosity! We have enough food to take a generous donation to the St. Rose food pantry in Milwaukee, which serves our sister parish, St. Michael.
"Senior Smiles: Send Day Brighteners To Isolated Home Residents
Area senior homes have requested cards and letters be sent for residents. Many have not been able to visit directly with loved ones for months and would appreciate a day brightener.
New Choir Chairs Donated
If you worship with our live-stream Masses, you may have noticed that our empty choir chairs had a different look on Sunday.

Parishioners Jenny and Tom Brown have donated our handsome new cushioned chairs. Thank you, Jenny and Tom, for setting your donation into motion several months ago. The black chairs that had been in the choir area were originally purchased for large Gathering Space events and will again be available for that purpose.
