As we come together as a community to help one another, HPR is working with DHMC to organize childcare services for essential medical personnel. Relieving the stress of finding childcare for medical staff will allow them to focus on meeting the community’s medical needs in this time of crisis.
With so many people at home, the hope is that there are willing individuals who are interested in working with the families of the essential medical personnel on a dedicated basis. Childcare will be provided at the homes of the doctors, nurses, technicians, etc. who are so urgently needed at their post today and for the days to come.
To be clear HPR is not hiring for these positions rather merely working as an intermediary to connect essential medical personnel with childcare providers. The details for hours of work, compensation, etc would be worked out between the families and providers.
By working together, we can help minimize the impact this crisis will have on our families and community.
