NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

& GENERAL MANAGER //

There’s a strong sense of momentum across Hunton Services. From exciting project wins and facility enhancements to expanded training and smarter technologies, our team is focused on delivering reliable, innovative solutions, always with your success in mind.

This quarter, we’re continuing to invest in what matters most: people, performance, and partnerships. Whether we’re modernizing legacy systems, improving infrastructure, or sharpening our technical expertise, every step forward is made with intention.

At our recent Town Hall, we introduced our 2025 Word of the Year: PURPOSE. For us, purpose means showing up with focus and integrity—doing the right work for the right reasons. It’s about being more than a service provider. It’s about being a partner you can count on.

Our team takes that responsibility seriously, and it shows in every interaction, every solution, and every outcome we deliver.

Thank you for your continued trust in Hunton Services. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together so far this year—and even more excited about what’s ahead.

HUNTON ENGINEERED PRODUCTS EARNS

UL508A & ISO 9001 CERTIFICATIONS

We’re proud to announce that Hunton Engineered Products (HEP) has achieved two major milestones: UL508A and ISO 9001 certifications. These achievements underscore our commitment to engineering excellence, product safety, and world-class quality management.

  • UL508A certification confirms that HEP’s industrial control panels meet the stringent safety and operational standards set by Underwriters Laboratories. This ensures that every panel we produce adheres to globally recognized requirements for reliability and performance, especially critical in high-demand, mission-driven environments.
  • ISO 9001 certification is a globally respected benchmark for quality management systems. It reflects our dedication to not only maintaining consistency and precision in everything we do but also continually improving how we design, produce, and support the custom-engineered solutions our customers rely on.

This certification journey has been a team effort from documentation and testing to design and assembly. Special thanks to Brett Lutz, Julia Pinto, and the entire HEP team for their tireless work and commitment to delivering products that meet the highest industry standards.

With these certifications in place, HEP is even better positioned to support our partners with scalable, customized solutions that meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.

YEAR-ROUND TECHNICIAN TRAINING: RAISING THE BAR

At Hunton Services, we believe that the best customer experience starts with the best-prepared team. That’s why our technician training isn’t just a one-time effort; it’s a strategic, year-round initiative focused on growth, mastery, and staying ahead of an evolving industry.

This year, we’ve expanded our in-house training program to include a wide range of manufacturer-specific courses designed to deepen technical knowledge and broaden service capabilities:

  • Trane ACRA/B/C
  • Trane RTHD / RTWD
  • York YK, YCAV / YCIV, YVAA / YVWA
  • Tracer TU 102
  • VAV & Fan Power Box Equipment & Controls

These targeted sessions allow our technicians to stay current with the latest technologies, troubleshoot with confidence, and deliver faster, more effective solutions in the field.

It’s part of our long-term investment in service excellence, ensuring you’re supported by a team that’s trained, equipped, and always ready to perform at the highest level.

LEGACY EQUIPMENT, MODERN SOLUTIONS: R’NEWAL PROJECTS AT MD ANDERSON & MOODY GARDENS

Hunton’s R’Newal solutions are designed for one purpose: helping customers extend the life of their HVAC systems without the high cost and disruption of full system replacement. And two recent projects at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Moody Gardens show just how effective and impactful this approach can be.

At Moody Gardens, our team installed new drives on a 35-year-old chiller plant. Instead of replacing six chillers, we delivered a scalable solution that not only revitalized the plant’s performance but positioned it to handle greater capacity for years to come, saving the customer significant capital while increasing reliability.

At MD Anderson – Smith Research Building, we tackled a set of aging, obsolete chillers. Rather than pursue a full equipment overhaul, MD Anderson elected to refurbish the existing systems, an approach that aligned with operational protocols and budget strategies.

Hunton technicians upgraded the chillers using the latest Trane technologies, including converting water-cooled AFDs to air-cooled and modernizing system communications. These enhancements allowed the equipment to seamlessly integrate with the hospital’s building automation system, increasing system intelligence, energy efficiency, and control.

These R’Newal projects represent the kind of forward-thinking service our team is proud to deliver: solutions that maximize value, minimize disruption, and meet the long-term demands of our customers.

Have aging equipment but not ready for a full replacement? Let’s talk. Our R’Newal team can evaluate your system and help identify scalable, cost-effective options that extend life, enhance performance, and support your operational goals.
