NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER //

As we continue moving FORWARD in 2026, I’m reminded that the strength of Hunton Services has always come down to people. Today, our team is more than 300 employees strong, representing over 1,638 years of combined experience and a shared commitment to serving our beloved customers the right way every day.

Q1 brought a lot of momentum for our team. We welcomed 41 new customers, achieved 558 days RECORDABLE FREE, and were honored to be recognized as a 2026 USA TODAY Top Workplace. These milestones are important to us because they reflect the culture our people continue to build together through accountability, craftsmanship, and care for one another.

That same commitment continues to show up in the way we invest in our teams. In Q1 alone, we completed 10 In-House trainings focused on technical development, safety, and continued learning across our organization. We believe taking care of our people and helping them grow directly impacts the level of service we provide to our customers.

As we head into Q2, we are especially looking forward to celebrating our 2026 Apprenticeship Graduation and National HVAC Tech Day. These moments give us the opportunity to recognize the technicians and tradespeople who are at the heart of this industry and a major reason our customers continue to place their trust in us.

To our longtime customers and those just joining the Hunton Services family, thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue moving FORWARD with you.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY STARTS WITH OPERATIONAL VISIBILITY //

Texas facilities are continuing to feel the impact of rising electrical demand, especially during peak cooling months. According to Greg Wommack, Business Development Director Energy Services Group, many building owners are now seeing utility costs driven less by total consumption alone and more by when and how energy is being used throughout the day.

“One of the biggest things facility teams are paying attention to right now is peak demand,” said Wommack. “Even short periods of inefficient operation during high-demand hours can have a major impact on monthly utility costs.”

In many facilities, issues like simultaneous heating and cooling, outdated HVAC schedules, unnecessary after-hours operation, and poorly optimized control sequences continue to create avoidable energy waste. These operational inefficiencies often go unnoticed because equipment appears to function normally. As utility rates continue to rise, and buildings become more complex, many organizations are taking a closer look at system performance, scheduling strategies, and building analytics to better understand where energy dollars are actually going.

Our Energy Services team continues to help customers identify practical operational improvements that support energy reduction goals while maintaining occupant comfort and day-to-day facility performance. With our approach, customers can see a measurable “Before and After” utility consumption modeling that will help them make better business decisions and avoid continued operation of costly non-optimized HVAC, Lighting, and Building Envelope Systems.

HURRICANE SEASON PREPAREDNESS

STARTS BEFORE THE STORM

With hurricane season approaching, now is the time for facilities to review contingency plans, backup power readiness, and emergency response procedures before severe weather arrives. While many organizations have generators onsite, reliable performance during an outage depends on more than simply having the equipment in place.

Preventive maintenance, load testing, transfer switch inspections, fuel system checks, and routine operational testing all play an important role in making sure generators are ready when they are needed most.

To better support customers before, during, and after severe weather events, HRS is proud to announce the launch of our Generator Services division. Our team provides preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, testing, and emergency support designed to help customers keep their power systems ready and operational year-round.

If you would like to discuss contingency planning or generator readiness for your facility, contact HRS directly or speak with your Hunton Services Sales Representative to help guide you through the process.

COOLING TRAILER SOLUTIONS FOR JOBSITE SAFETY //

As summer temperatures continue to rise across Texas, heat exposure remains one of the biggest safety concerns facing industrial job sites, shutdowns, and outdoor work environments. For crews working long hours in extreme conditions, having access to a reliable cooled recovery space can play an important role in helping reduce heat-related risk and supporting safer working conditions.

HRS Cooling Trailer are designed to provide mobile, dependable cooling for job sites, turnarounds, planned outages, and emergency response situations. From temporary shaded recovery areas to climate-controlled cooling spaces for field personnel, our team helps customers create practical solutions built around real job site conditions.

Whether supporting worker recovery during peak heat hours or helping facilities prepare for summer operations, HRS continues to provide cooling solutions focused on safety, readiness, and reliability when conditions are at their toughest.

SUMMER BREAK IS BOILER PLANNING SEASON //

For K-12 schools and universities, summer break is one of the best opportunities to address boiler system maintenance before campuses are fully occupied again in the fall. Once students, staff, and daily operations return, taking critical systems offline becomes much more difficult.

Our Boiler Services team continues to support educational facilities across Texas with annual inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, combustion analysis, and operational support designed to help systems run reliably when they are needed most. Summer maintenance windows give facility teams the opportunity to identify wear, efficiency issues, and potential system concerns before colder weather and heavier demand return later in the year.

To discuss summer boiler inspections or maintenance planning for your campus, contact your Hunton Services Sales Representative to help guide you through available options.

COOLING TOWER PERFORMANCE

STARTS WITH THE RIGHT MAINTENANCE //

With summer temperatures already settling across Texas, cooling towers are working harder to support overall building performance and efficiency. Over time, cooling tower fill can deteriorate due to mineral buildup, water treatment issues, biological growth, and normal operating wear. When fill becomes clogged or damaged, systems are often forced to work harder, leading to reduced efficiency, increased energy usage, and added strain on equipment during peak cooling season.

Our team continues to support customers with cooling tower inspections, fill replacement, refurbishment, and preventative maintenance designed to help systems operate reliably through the hottest months of the year.

Addressing cooling tower performance early can help facilities reduce unnecessary strain on equipment, improve efficiency, and avoid operational issues when dependable cooling matters most.
