Opening Dates and Guidance for Indoor Family Entertainment, Outdoor Amusement Parks and Day/Overnight Camps Announced

Governor Cuomo announced that indoor family entertainment centers and places of amusement can open with a 25 percent capacity limit beginning March 26. Outdoor amusement parks can open with a 33 percent capacity limit beginning April 9.

Details:

Facilities must submit reopening plans with health protocols to the local health department
Customers and staff must wear face coverings and social distance
Customers will be required to have a health screening with temperature checks prior to entry

Working capital (term up to 7 years)
Furniture and fixtures
Real property (term up to 15 years)

Minimum loan amount: $10,000

Interest rate: 4%

Eligibility: for profit businesses

Employment: must employ less than 50FTE

Gross revenue: less than $1 million

Virtual Conference February 24-27

The North Country Center for Businesses in Transition (CBIT) will host a virtual event that will attract and empower aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue business ownership in northern New York. The conference — Small Communities. Big Opportunities: Own a North Country Business — will include several one-hour sessions over the course of four days to accommodate participants’ work schedules. Ticonderoga Winter Carnival March 5 & 6, 2021

The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce in coordination with Silver Bay YMCA, Ticonderoga Festival Guild, and Ti Automotive, as well as a number of local businesses and organization are pleased to announce they will host the Seventh Annual Ticonderoga End of Winter Carnival & Fireworks: COVID-19 Edition the weekend of March 5–7, 2021.

This family friendly event will include on your own and virtual activities, business promotions and specials, as well as fireworks. Please note all information is subject to change. Regulations and all guidelines must be followed to ensure this event take place. Guidelines include no gatherings, keeping social distanced, and wearing masks.
