Annual Meeting featuring

Dr. Monica Gandhi

Join us for the Partnership's Annual General Membership Meeting as we share our work and welcome special guest Monica Gandhi, MD, MPH, for an exciting book discussion and signing. ENDEMIC: A Post-Pandemic Playbook provides a history of the COVID-19 pandemic, a look at the rapid and miraculous development of vaccines, a review of COVID treatments, and a simple primer on the immune system. Dr. Gandhi draws on lessons from the HIV and other pandemics to create a strategic 10-point pandemic playbook for future epidemic crises.

Protect Me with 3+ Winners Announced


The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey, in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Health, has announced the winners of the 11th annual Protect Me With 3+ adolescent immunization awareness poster and video contest. This year's Protect Me With 3+ campaign – Create. Educate. Vaccinate. – emphasized the importance of educating New Jersey communities about the health benefits of vaccination. Over 300 students submitted poster or video entries this year. The winning creations can be viewed at protectmewith3.com/winners.


Coalition Partner Resources and Community Events

The New Jersey Department of Health Vaccine Preventable Disease Program has developed new materials for educating families about the importance of maternal vaccines. You can view the new brochure "Protect Your Baby with Vaccines" and other materials at the NJ DOH VPDP website.

The New Jersey Department of Health, Vaccine Preventable Disease Program, and Rutgers School of Public Health are pleased to present the 2023 New Jersey Immunization Conference: RISE Together: Advancing Childhood Immunization Rates through Collaboration. How Vaccines Protect Your Child Workshop

In collaboration with Touro University California College of Pharmacy, the Partnership is conducting an information session to determine parental attitudes toward childhood immunizations and to evaluate the impact of a children's book on such opinions. Participants will receive a copy of the book Andre's Armor and will be entered to win a gift card.

NJ Immunization Information System: Interface FAQs

If your facility currently interfaces with NJIIS, here are some tips on how to become an NJIIS Interface Expert!

  • Take the Interface Webinar: Learn how to run interface reports in NJIIS to troubleshoot data issues. Register for an upcoming Interface Webinar in the Enrollment/Training section of the NJIIS homepage.
  • Run the Interface Reports: The Interface File Details report and the Interface File Statistics report will show how your data is being processed in NJIIS and how to troubleshoot interface issues, including vaccines not reducing from your NJIIS inventory. 
  • Additional Assistance: Open a ticket with NJIIS by clicking the “Submit a Request” link on the NJIIS homepage and select “I am Experiencing Issues with my Existing Interface”

Protecting Babies at Birth: Hepatitis B Vaccine

The hepatitis B birth dose program provides patient education materials in English, Spanish, and Chinese on preventing hepatitis B during pregnancy and the importance of babies receiving the hepatitis B vaccine within 24 hours after birth.
