Established Steps and Unfailing Support

“A person’s steps are established by the Lord, and He takes pleasure in his way. Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, because the Lord supports him with His hand.”

—Psalm 37:23-24

Dear Ministry Partners,

What a living and loving God we have who is watching over all the steps of His children. We move because He is alive. Not only does He direct our paths, but He also delights in them. He sustains us, supports us, and preserves our lives. How can we deny Him and not be thankful to the Lord? He is absolute and more than deserves our honor and praise forever.

God protected and guided Pastor M, one of our area coordinators, and his family during their recent fleeing journey to a far more remote area. What was supposed to be a three-day journey during the rainy season felt almost like a nightmare. Yet the Lord was with them every step of the way.

Upon arrival, they encountered villagers in great need, without even access to clean drinking water. Pastor M quickly organized the cleaning of the local well to purify drinking water. He also taught them how to raise animals and cultivate plants to support their families and future ministry. The villagers were overjoyed to welcome Pastor M and his family into their community.

Cleaning the well

Also, this month, one training class has started in southern Myanmar. Twelve students are being equipped by the Word to become better disciple makers upon completing the courses. Pray that the materials will help them build a good relationship with God.

Thank you so much for your love and support. Your prayers and support make it possible to reach the unreached and strengthen the church in places many will never go.

In His Precious Love,

CCI Myanmar National Director

Classes

  • Pastor S spoke with the class teachers. Most training classes are doing well. Only one class has postponed the study due to health reasons. Please pray for the teacher whose son’s health has been affected.
  • I met three teachers for lunch. We gave thanks for their eagerness of learning and prayed for the need to improve.
  • Pastor J and his class are in the last book. The materials have helped them grow in their Christian walk and become more helpful in the church ministry.
  • Pastor B continues to meet the classes and graduates who work in different fields.

Staff Update

Pastor T: He and his family are doing well. The farm work is still going on, and he continues to work in the ministry.

Pastor M: He and his family are doing well. He and local leaders organized a group of people to clean a well for drinking water. Also, he is concerned about his children's education. Due to the airstrikes in the area, the children aren't able to study properly.

Pastor Y: He and his family are in good health. He is still very active in church ministry. He wants to disciple the members with CCI materials, but he is still unable to retrieve the materials. He pays attention to the needs of the community as the people are facing difficulties in this rainy season.

Pastor Z: He and his family are doing well. He sends his children to school despite limitations. His wife is helping in the children's ministry while he ministers in the church alongside the leaders.

Pastor S: He and his family are well. His two elder sons study in Thailand. His wife is teaching in a private school to support the family and ministry as well.

Pastor B: He and his family are doing well. He continues to visit churches to help with their daily issues and encourage them with the Word. He always tries to maintain training when there's a good time to meet.

Testimony

"I was born into a faithful Christian family. I lived a Christian life, but in my teenage years, I began drinking alcohol and eventually became addicted to drugs for years. Everything changed when I accepted Christ into my life. I am so thankful to be studying Personal Spiritual Life. This book has helped me clearly understand who I am in Christ and has guided me on how to live my life accordingly. I now truly understand that the work of the Holy Spirit is real."
