Rabbi's Message
This week we read the conclusion of the story of Yoseif and his brothers, the death of Yaakov Avinu, and the beginning of the exile in Mitzrayim.  The seeds for Geula have planted over the last several Parshiot.
The story of the Torah is never about one Parsha or one person.  The entire Chumash is an intricate pattern of interwoven themes that are the foundation of our faith and tradition.

Finishing Sefer Bereishit is not really the end. It is more like the end of a chapter in a large book of the Jewish People's story.   We must always look back in order to move forward. We cannot begin to understand Yetziat Mitzrayim without fully covering Sefer Bereishit.  That is true in Tanach, in Jewish History and in every aspect of our lives.
Chazak Chazak V'Nittchazeik!

Shabbat Shalom.
