A Short Summer Vort
Many mefarshim ask why would the Torah name an entire Parsha after Balak, a declared enemy of Israel?
There are those who seek our demise, yet appear to be friendly and pleasant towards us. Others are unabashedly against us while they loudly spew their hatred for us. These are the Balak types who must be called out by name for everyone to hear and know.
