HIGH HOLIDAY SURVEY
PLEASE COMPLETE BY SUNDAY, AUGUST 2
These last few months have been challenging for our Shul community. Baruch Hashem we were able to resume services at Etz Chaim in early June. The reason that has worked so well is because of the well thought planning of our committee and the participation and cooperation of our members.

It is time to think about how the High Holidays will run this year. Needless to say, they will be far different than what we are used to. So that we can plan accordingly, we ask that every member fill out the survey promptly. This will give us an idea of how many we can expect to attend this year.

Please note that services this year will be available to Etz Chaim members only, above age 12, and unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate guests this year (aside from possibly immediate family members).

Masks and social distancing will be required.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding of these extenuating circumstances. Our goal is to make Yom Tov as meaningful and comfortable as possible for all.

Community News
JEWISH JOB NETWORK
In an effort to assist individuals who are in need of job search support during this economic downturn, the Livingston and West Orange communities have revived the Jewish Job Network (JJN) . JJN is an informal volunteer organization serving the Jewish community in our local area. The support includes guidance in resume writing, interviewing, career counseling, networking (including LinkedIn), starting a new business, learning how to consult and job retraining.

If you are in need of assistance or if you are interested in volunteering, please go to JJN's website http://jewishjobnetwork.com .

The volunteers we seek are people with knowledge/experience in the above areas, including those with contacts in their respective fields who will be able to connect job seekers for industry or position specific advice and potential job placement. We look forward to working with you.
