Rabbi's Message
Back to school. Back to Shul. High Holidays. Seating requests. Hurricanes near Florida.

Just a few words that can catapult us to the throes of angst and worry. Long and quiet summer evenings are by now a distant and faint memory as we think of homework and back to school night orientation meetings.

Where did it all go?

While I do not have a great answer for that, I do know where we need to be heading. The Shofar has sounded (literally) and it is a wake-up call for us all. It is time to take stock and honestly look back at the last year. It is time to acknowledge our successes AND our failures with resolve. Now is the time to prepare for the Yom Hadin. Lucky for us, Chazal have constructed a framework for us that is designed to help us through the next few weeks. All we have to do is follow the course. I invite you all to join me on the journey.

Shabbat Shalom
Mazal Tov! Frema and Ivan Sobel are proud to announce the birth of their granddaughter, Kira Agnes (Kira Gilah), daughter of Melissa and Eric Sobel.
Kiddush is sponsored by Debbie and Wayne Zuckerman in honor of Wayne's Bar Mitzvah anniversary.
HIGH HOLIDAY TICKETS
Rosh Hashanah begins September 30th! Please let us know if you will be at Etz Chaim for Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kippur, and how many adults, children and guests you plan to have.

Please click on the attached link to print the form and return the form by email, mail, or drop it at the office no later than September 16th , so that we can have an accurate count and prepare properly for the holiday. If you will be out of town and not coming at all, please let us know. It is important we hear from everyone in some way.

Please note: We will be emailing out separate tickets for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. FOR SECURITY REASONS, THESE TICKETS MUST BE PRESENTED IN ORDER TO ENTER THE SHUL.
