May was a momentous month for Euroconsult's Events team. We had the pleasure of hosting many of you at our 2nd edition of LATSAT, Latin American Satellite Communications & Broadcasting Summit, in Mexico City on May 19-20-21. We are proud that LATSAT has already established itself as the premier international event within the LATAM region.

Feedback from this second edition of LATSAT and our newly released research dedicated to the Latin American market has been highly positive. This has encouraged Euroconsult to further strengthen its expertise in the region and to confirm that a 3rd LATSAT will take place in May 2016. We hope to welcome many of you there.
With the happy memories of LATSAT 2015 now behind us, we are busy preparing for the upcoming World Satellite Business Week and finalizing the full list of high-profile speakers and sponsors for the 19th edition of our flagship summit! We look forward to welcoming you all in Paris for five full days of round table discussions, debates and unique networking and deal making opportunities.

LATSAT Surpasses Expectations Once Again
LATSAT closed on May 21 after welcoming an outstanding 200+ executive-level participants and representatives of the press.
This second edition of LATSAT surpassed the success of the first edition, bringing together more than 80 companies from 16 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela, as well as the USA and European countries. The entire satellite communications and broadcasting value chain was represented, including policy makers, government institutions and programs, and the leading companies ranging from telecom operators, broadcasters, and service providers to satellite operators and industrial groups.
In a market that has experienced strong growth in recent years, LATSAT provides participants with a regional forum where they can meet with regional and international counterparts and obtain precise information from the best sources available in order to build and consolidate important partnerships that are essential to their business growth.

The next edition of the World Satellite Business Week will take place at the Westin Hotel in Paris from September 14-18, 2015.
This must-attend event for the satellite communications and information business brings together 800 top-level executives from the global satellite communications and information sector for a week of top level business meetings and deal making as well as intense panel discussions featuring CEOs and other high-ranking executives and a packed social program of sit-down lunches and evening receptions.

Capucine Fargier is a Consultant contributing to mobile market related consulting missions and research reports. Her experience lies in the aeronautical satcom market and the competitive market landscape of in-flight connectivity by satellite.
Prior to Euroconsult, Capucine worked for Thales Alenia Space in Toulouse, within the department of telecom research and development.
She
holds a double Masters Degree, including an engineering degree in Aeronautical and Space Technologies from ISAE Toulouse and a specialized Masters from HEC Paris in Large Project Management.

Sunil Manjunath, Consultant |
Euroconsult would like to welcome Sunil Manjunath as Consultant contributing to our research and client-specific missions focusing on industrial aspects of the space sector.
Prior to joining Euroconsult, Sunil worked on the integration of aircraft engines at CAMAQ and the certification of business aircraft at Bombardier Aerospace. He also participated in the development of a cubesat at Space Concordia that won the first edition of the Canadian Satellite Design Challenge.
He holds a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from Concordia University and is currently working towards a Masters in Business Administration.
Sunil will be a great asset to our team, and we wish him a warm welcome.
