There have been riots and demonstrations in Greece, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, and beyond, but began in mid-September in France.
Be He God or Devil, We Will Receive Him! Seriously?
Europe has cried for a savior in days gone by. Paul Henri Spaak—a Belgian politician called “Mr. Europe”, was Secretary General of NATO in 1957. At that time, he made a statement that lingers and should haunt Europeans today:
"What we need is a man of sufficient stature to hold the
allegiance of all people, and to lift us out of the
economic morass into which we are sinking.
Send us such a man, and be he god or devil, we
will receive him."
Daniel 9 suggests the Antichrist will come from the region that destroyed the Temple in 70 AD. And while the Roman Empire was huge, most scholars suggest this “little horn” will arise from what is today, the European Union.
Welcoming the Stranger??
Europe has reeked with the familiar mantras of “free Palestine” and “from the river to the sea” since October 7, 2023. Could that be a judgment? Decades ago, Europe killed most of its Jews and then began welcoming Islamic immigrants to the point of collapse today.
Now, they need a savior, and according to Spaak and almost all of today’s globalists, be he god or devil, they will receive him.
As Michele Bachmann and I asked in our recent online conversation, (see below) is America paying attention? Globalists in every country, including America, want to destroy sovereignty, welcome unlimited immigrants as cheap laborers, and brag about being multi-cultural—even though many of these immigrants will never assimilate.
What's Wrong With This Picture?
As a life-long resident of Minnesota, I know. We are now called Mogadishu on the Mississippi. Our Scandinavian culture has been trampled, and mosques are replacing churches. As a thank you, the invaders extorted billions of dollars in Somali fraud from this once-pristine state. We no longer boast of ten thousand lakes; rather, ten thousand terrorists.
The European chaos is spreading rapidly. The fires of rebellion are casting an eerie glow. Evildoers are waiting in the wings to take advantage: globalists, communists, socialists, and an assortment of thugs. A deadly "red-green alliance" of communism and Islam.
"From the river to the sea", they shout. This is where it leads. Hate the Jews and pay the price. Emmanuel Macron no longer walks on water. Soon, every European leader will be riddled with fear. They will all be longing for a “man-with-a-plan.” Mr. Fix-It.
The Trade-Off: Kill the Jews, Welcome the Muslims?
Eighty and ninety years ago, Europe tracked down, registered, marked, and tried to murder every Jew in the world. Righteous Europeans tried to intervene in vain. A group of people who were a blessing to the world were targeted for extermination as an ethnic group. They have borne the brunt of enmity because they dared to be different and dared to insist on their difference.
God intervened, for it is Israel and the Jews who are His last days’ markers and clock signaling the end-of-days. And if God is for you, it doesn’t matter how many are against you. Their existence is the greatest testimony of a loving God who keeps His covenants to Jews and Christians. He spared a remnant who began the new State of Israel.
Europe was sick and twisted in the 1930s and is even more depraved today, except for a remnant of the righteous.
Awaiting Jesus Christ, Not Antichrist!
The true believer can be assured that we only await Jesus Christ. We will never encounter this Antichrist. He will arrive not to curse believers, but to haunt and torment an unbelieving left behind world.
