Meet Katie

2025 Ambassador

"Hi! I’m Katie Morrow and I’m 26 years old. I like to keep busy. Three or four days a week I volunteer at the Bulverde Assisted Living Home. I enjoy helping all the residents there. I help out with activities and meals and whatever else is needed. When I’m at home I enjoy doing puzzles with my family. I like to help in the kitchen. I love arts and crafts. I paint, draw, and like to make different things. I have been involved with Eva’s Heroes for about 10 yrs. I love all the staff there. I have made a lot of friends too. I love the activities, especially the dances and bowling. Getting to do new things with Eva's Heroes is a great experience!"

Our Mission

Eva’s Heroes is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual special needs by providing an inclusive setting built on four tenets: Interact, Grow, Learn, and Love.

We provide an opportunity for teens and adults to enjoy unique recreation and socialization experiences in our community. Their involvement with Eva’s Heroes enriches their lives and allows them to become more active members of our community.
