Making Connections to Rise Up Together

The pandemic of COVID-19 has resulted in many Making Connections grantee sites modifying their approaches to engaging their Population of Focus. Despite restrictions to connecting in-person, sites have developed creative ways to foster continued relationships with men and boys in their communities. Grantees shared their adaptive approaches with fellow peers during the PI Drop-in Office Hour Series as well as through direct communications with PI and the MC Evaluation Team.

Electronic versions of the MWBI are available on each grantee's site web page. To access your individual grantee web page:
  1. Go to https://www.mcievaluation.com/
  2. Look for Resources /Data Collection Activities/Mental Well-Being Inventory
  3. Click on your grantee site

Sites are encouraged to use the MWBI only if it is appropriate to use the tool at this time. We are also encouraging any sites who are able to connect with their Population of Focus to consider incorporating simple evaluation questions to find out what impact their virtual activities are having. If you need assistance with this or have any questions about the local evaluation or MWBI, please contact your USF Site Liaison.

The Making Connections Evaluation emphasizes   theory-driven evaluation , which promotes development of shared vision, clear linking of strategies to intended outcomes, and a commitment to using data to inform decision making at all stages and levels of implementation.
