Dear Parents and Guardians,
In order to prepare for Parent-Faculty Evaluation Conferences in June, please fill out the Evaluation Request Form by May 7, 2023. Please indicate the times during the week, June 5-9, that you are NOT AVAILABLE. Please note this is a change from past years. Families who do not submit a request will be assigned a time slot. The office will mail you the times for your evaluation(s) the week of May 15.
At the end of each semester, Trinity faculty produce a written evaluation for each student. Students are evaluated on their Sense of Wonder, Depth of Inquiry, Basic Understanding of the Subject Matter, Class Discussion, Writing, Tests, and Homework.
Parents are invited to the school to discuss the written evaluations with their child's teachers, meeting in one conference lasting 30 minutes. Please arrive 30 minutes before the appointment to read through the evaluation first, as it forms the basis for the conference. We encourage parents to ask questions and seek clarity about what the teachers have written.
Only parents and faculty participate in the evaluation conference for grades six through ten.
For the eleventh and twelfth grades, the students attend evaluations with their parents. These students will prepare and present an oral self-evaluation. Girls should wear dresses or skirts with dress blouses and dress shoes. Boys should wear dress slacks, dress shirts, ties, and dress shoes.
