Why give to World Missions?

When we invest in spreading God's Word we invest in the souls of men, women, and children who will come to Christ and be used of God to glorify His great name. We are to pray and ask God to give us a heart that finds great joy in giving in order to build His kingdom here and around the world. "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15 Faith Promise is Evangel’s means of funding World Missions. As I put my Faith in God’s Promise, He enables me to meet the commitment He has led me to make. Faith Promise is an agreement between you and God. It is a promise to God that as He enables, you will give the amount you have pledged to Missions. Please prayerfully consider your Faith Promise and turn in your pledge card by March 31. Faith Promise can be given on-line at our church website. 

As of March 24, we have received 39 commitments for a total of $75,300.

The Teach & Talk Sunday School Class

will begin a new study on the Gospel of John on Sunday, April 5. Join us each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in Quad 208.  

Evangel Men

Acts 2:42-45 encourages us to live our lives devoted to "doctrine, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer." We have created a survey in order to find different ways to build brotherhood and live in fellowship based off of your interest. MomCo is for moms of preschoolers

to connect with each other during this exciting (and exhausting) season of life! Our next meeting is Monday, April 6, from 6:158:30 p.m. in the Quad 208. Come ask questions and get sage perspective from our lively Dad Panel made up of dads and a grandfather —who have raised a total of 13 kids between them! RSVP for dinner at (205) 729-3088, and we'll set you a place! If you need nursery, RSVP is required at (706) 718-0454.  

"Discover Evangel" class!

If you would like to join Evangel or just learn more about our church, we will be holding a Discover Evangel class on Sundays, April 12 & 19, during the 9:00 a.m. Sunday School hour in Quad 210. We will have an additional session on Saturday, April 18, from 8:30—11:30 a.m. We will talk about our church's mission, our history and denomination, church government, basic doctrinal beliefs, our ministries, and what it means to become a member. If you would like to attend, please contact Connie Reynolds in the church office.  

Upcoming Youth Events!

GENERATE 2026 time is running out to register for this year's Generate summer camp at Ridgecrest North Carolina from June 1st through 5th. If you are planning to go, please contact Mr. Ralph at 205.903.5855 or youth@evangelchurchpca.org.

• Total cost for camp is $500.00 - deposit of $150.00 is currently due when registering.
• We have a car wash fundraiser scheduled for 4/25 to help offset the cost of attending.
• In addition to the fundraising, we also have scholarships available. Contact Mr. Ralph for further details.

Sunday night girls and guys Bible studies will begin a new study on April 12 called "THE THREAD". Come join your friends as we learn how the gospel message is found throughout all scripture. These Bible studies are a great time to grow closer with your fellow youth and leaders in a small group setting. Studies meet most every Sunday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the gym.

Lastly, YOUTH WORSHIP IS EACH WEDNESDAY NIGHT from 6:15-8:15 p.m. at the gym. All youth from 7th through 12th grade are invited for worship, fellowship, games and snacks.
