Prophetic & Intercession Conference

"Words cannot  adequately express  the Presence of God."
  --Michel A. Borchardt

The manifest Presence of God is to be experienced as the Bible says to, "Taste and see that the Lord is good."
Thousands came! We ministered in 5 services seeing the outpour of God's glory as heaven's floodgates were opened.

When God shows up, His work is always unique to the situation, the environment, His purposes and the needs of the people. These meetings became about being saturated in the glory, a call to intimacy with Christ and the renewal and commitment of living lives sold our for Jesus.

The testimonies are in the hundreds upon hundreds.

Thousands came over the course of these services and were saved, delivered, filled with the Holy Spirit and  received  an impartation.

Friday Night:

Above Photo:  What a powerful night! Wave after wave of people came to the altars to repent, cry out to God, renew their commitments to Christ and surrender their lives to the LORD. Over the course of this conference, it is not possible to adequately calculate how many were born again, restored and healed. Literally it is beyond count as the waves kept coming in. At the beginning of this service a word of knowledge went forth that the Lord was going to work in the services in waves, as the water on the beach comes to shore, retreats then comes in again. POWERFUL! Often we give up too quickly on the work and Presence of the LORD. There is so much He wants to speak and do in our lives and we are often too quick to surrender to the clock. This night approached the midnight hour when all was done.

Saturday Night:

Wave after wave of the Holy Spirit flooded the atmosphere. The meeting ended at 12:30 am. Even at that time, people were at the altar weeping and saturated in the Presence of the Lord.

During this meeting we played the SOZO MOUNTAIN video for the children's home project here in Brazil. We then asked anyone who had a call to work with children to come forward. Hundreds responded and came to the altar.  It was standing room only, packed to capacity! We cried out in intercession for the children of Brazil and then directed p rayer for SOZO MOUNTAIN, that God would open the doors of heaven in provision and favor to buy the property and begin the work.

THIS IS AMAZING!

Above Photo: During this prayer we randomly went down to the front and picked up a little  girl as we interceded and cried out for the orphans of Brazil. It is incredible what happened next! The mother came and told us that they had just adopted this little girl.

What a prophetic picture and testimony to what God is doing and that the LORD is in the SOZO MOUNTAIN project. Can you imagine? What are the odds, that out of all those people we would step off the platform and pick up a random young child to pray for her as a representation of the orphaned children, and that this child was in an adoption process that was being finalized that very week. HOW PROPHETIC IS THAT?, ONLY GOD! Adoption is not a common thing in Brazil and we hope to change that in bringing awareness and help and to be part of a solution for Brazil's children.

Above Photo: The response to the altar calls was always overflowing. This particular moment was for those who had a call to work with children. We had just showed the Sozo Mountain video project. What a blessing as the whole congregation interceded and prayed for the children of Brazil.

Above Photo: Prayer over the young adults to receive the Fire of the Holy Spirit in their lives. This is only a section of the front altar area. The altar area was packed with a generation hungry for more of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Hundreds coming in hunger before the Lord to the altar with tears of repentance and cries for holiness. Two young men not associated with another testified to us that they were delivered from the sin of homosexuality. That they were spiritual free in mind and body. That the power of God broke this stronghold on their lives. It was a powerful transforming moment to see what the Lord did in these two young men's lives. The surrender in their hearts was met with the transformative presence of the Holy Spirit. PRAISE GOD for the power of the cross and the redemptive work of the cross.

Sunday Morning Service: 14+ salvations
It was the early 9 am. Sunday morning service. Many come to expect tradition and routine in the early hours. But on this Sunday morning the service went beyond the traditional span of time. 14 people gave their lives to Christ, being born again! Making the decision for the very first time. Imagine, a 9 am service. God is up to something in this place!  HALLELUJAH!

Sunday Night Service: 20+ Salvations

The conference ended Saturday Night, but the hunger spilled over into the church's Sunday's services. This was a powerful night. The move of The Holy Spirit was impacting lives.

Above Photos: A cry for the baptism of Love. A move of God so powerful that His love would absorb our minds, hearts and circumstances in life. A thunder of cries reached heaven as the people poured out their hearts and souls to God. The river was flowing as supernatural transformations were taking place.

-----------

Toward the end of the meeting, a girl (approx. 19 years old) came and gave us a big hug. She said, tonight I was delivered from suicide. I can't explain to you how I feel now and the miracle of deliverance I have received. She could not adequately convey the words, but the joy of freedom shined on her face, her countenance and tears said it all. WOW!

         -----------

 A Few Awesome Testimonies

In many services we open the microphone for people to testify at that moment if they received a miracle and to have the opportunity to share. During these meetings, the Glory of the Lord was so prevalent, the altars were full for hours on end, there was not a break or opportunity to take open testimonies.
The church is actually compiling a book of testimonies to record all that the Lord had done as people are sharing. We know there are literally hundreds of testimonies, but below here a few that will bless you...

1. We were asked to go visit a judge at her home during the day.  She has been in a deep depression for several years. We shared the gospel and she made a decision to make Jesus Christ the Lord of her life. We led her in a prayer of salvation as she opened her heart to Jesus. We prayed for her and a new level of countenance and life shone from her face. The next day she came to one of the services we were having at the church. PRAISE GOD!  Please keep this precious judge in your prayers.
2. During these days of meetings, pastors and people came from around the city. The senior pastor of the church told us that the president of the pastors council came and he was so impacted and renewed in his spirit. The impact and glory that was present touched so many as they took the Glory Fire with them to their respective places throughout the city.
3. A women was in her kitchen the morning after one of the evening services. She was in the glory of God from the night's meeting. As she was in her kitchen she described the Presence of God coming into the room. She was so overwhelmed at the weight of the Glory that she fell onto the kitchen floor in the atmosphere of the Kabob (weighted presence of God)
4. A young man had intestinal issues. He went to the doctor the next day and there was nothing wrong. Praise the Lord!
5.
Above Photo: On monday on the way to the airport we stopped at a restaurant to have lunch. A patron recognized us from the meetings and told us how impactful the weekend was. As we were leaving the restaurant 3 waitresses approached us and asked for prayer. We shared the gospel and Good News of salvation. The atmosphere was transformed and the three waitresses were impacted. They said, what is this I'm feeling. I'm sweating, there's so much heat on my body. It's a feeling we have not had before.  Praying with these three waitresses, they all gave their lives to Chirst, opening their hearts and being born again!  OH HOW THE ANGELS REJOICE IN HEAVEN WHEN ONE COMES TO FAITH IN CHRIST!  I can imagine the heavenly celebration at that moment!
6. Later as we were walking into the airport a woman approached us and said that she was at the meetings and was changed and eternally impacted. The pastors who were taking us to the airport said, "We have never once been recognized in public or heard the acknowledgments in public from strangers coming up to us and talking about a move of God. And just in this trip to the airport,  there was the patron in the restaurant, the 3 waitresses that had heard and wanted prayer and now at the airport. This is the mark of revival!"  They said. "When the glory of God is being talked about in the public square and people are seeking and hungry to experience it!"

I believe, there is much more in this city that the Lord wants to do, I trust we will be back again soon!

LET THE FIRE OF REVIVAL BURN!

8 salvations and 5 re-dedications to Christ

Message Preached:  "Who do you say that I am"

Above Photo:  Altar call for salvation (8 salvations & 5 rededication's)

We were last at this church a year ago in August. It has tripled in size since. What a great work that is happening through this new church plant.

This church is in another city, about 45 minutes from our  home base. A woman and her two children who attend this church happen to live in our homebase city here in Brazil. Since the service ended late that night they had missed the bus, so we gave them a ride home. On the way the woman gave us an awesome testimony. She said that she was at a service we were preaching at in another church about a year ago. She was in severe pain as she had bone on bone in both knees and serious hip issues. The doctor told her she was going to need surgery but after that she could be bound to a wheelchair. She said that she was healed in that service and it has now been a whole year since that day. She's had no pain or limitations. She can wear her high heals, do physical exercise and has been completely fine since that service. JESUS IS SO AMAZING!

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL, DON'T MISS THIS TESTIMONY!

Above Photo: Young man praying to give his life to Jesus.

This young man at end of service came up to us. He had never been to that church before and did not know anyone, he was just walking by the church and felt compelled to enter. He said he had pain throughout his whole body. I was reminded when I was his age, I wondered into a church (Overland Park first assembly of God) in desperation and despair of life. In that service, I gave my life to Christ and I have never been the same since. Just like this young man, he was in a place of despair in life. We prayed with him and he received Jesus Christ as his Savior. All the pain immediately left his body. I have no doubt it was a suicidal spirit on this young man. It was so beautiful to see his salvation and deliverance take place before our very eyes. When one salvation occurs, a family tree and generations are altered forever! The implications are beyond calculation.

Like my own life, at 24 coming to know Christ, and now at 52, I have a blessed family, a God fearing wife, 3 amazing daughters who all love the Lord, a Godly man for a Son-in-Law and another Godly future son-in-law on the way. In my time of knowing Christ, I've probably led over 40K to Christ and have witnessed many thousands of supernatural healings. I say this to contrast my life at the same age as this young man, the day he wondered into this service and was saved! This young man has a destiny!  Lord, you order the steps of this young man's life and do marvelous things for and through him. This young man could be the next Billy Graham of Brazil. One salvation is worth it all!

THANK YOU to all our supporters who make the mission's work here in Brazil possible. Everyone of these souls are marked to your heavenly account and we are so thankful for your partnership.

WALK IN JESUS NAME!

Abo ve Photo: Praying for woman with a sprained right ankle

There was a word of knowledge about a right ankle being twisted or sprained. This women came forward saying several weeks back she badly sprained her ankle. As we began to pray, just to touch her ankle she let out a cry of pain. After a few minutes of prayer, she was running, jumping and completely healed. So beautiful!

--------

DO YOU REMEMBER THE DOCTOR?

Above Photo:  Doctor with her son and husband who was healed back in November 2017 when we preached here. The woman on the right in the sweater was healed in this service of a severely sprained ankle.

Remember this testimony from November 2017. This Doctor and her husband were both healed in the meeting last November when we preached at this church. They were both so happy to report to us that they have had no relapse and are both 100% healed to this day!  Praise God! The husband had very low blood pressure, diabetes and was on many medications. Since that night in November 2017 when he was healed, his blood pressure has been normal and his diabetes gone! He reported that he has not been on any medication since that night. GLORY!
Remember the the doctor? She was scheduled for a double hip replacement surgery. Since that night when she was healed, she has had no limitations, pain and any issues. I will never forget that moment! How the church erupted in shouts of praise when she began running and jumping throughout the church. Glory to GOD!!!

3 Salvations and 9  re-dedications

Message Preached: The Perez Breakthrough
Above Photo: With pastor Roberto e pastor Lúcia

What an honor to be invited to preach for the church's dedication of their new facilities and the relaunch of the ministry. The church disassociated itself from the mainline denomination it was connected to and became an independent church. They have three churches in three different cities. Since we met the pastors a few years ago, we have seen the Lord do an amazing transformation and mighty work through them.  Change is not always easy, but its outcome is beautiful when you are walking in obedience and trust in the Lord.

Above Photo: At the end of the service a young man (in the middle) who spoke english came up to us to say hello. It was his first time in church as he came with a fellow youth who invited him. He gave his life to Christ and was so happy. PRAISE GOD!  He said, he was going to give his friend who invited him to church free english lessons in exchange for his friend teaching him about the Bible. THAT'S A GREAT DIVINE EXCHANGE!

Débora's Column

I find myself having to read the newsletter draft, so I can remember what went on and what God did. This back and forth between 2 countries that we find ourselves in can make it a little more challenging to keep track of things. As I read it I'm so  encouraged, remembering the days and the meetings and the lives that we saw God touch and transform.
I'm ALWAYS humbling to be a part of what God is doing here in Brazil, and also to be able to make it back to the US so many times, so that we can continue to be the parents we want to be for our children and be part of important family happenings, and work so that we can financially provide for ourselves.
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I have no idea where I am. With all the traveling that we do while we are in Brazil and the going back home, I literally have to stop and try to remember where I am. I have full on walked into a wall in the night in our own house before,  because I forgot we were home.
July was an amazing ministry month, as you can see in the testimonies. We also were able to set aside 4 days to rest and enjoy our 24th wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time at the beach and felt refreshed and ready to head back to KC for work.
In August we attended our niece's wedding and Mike had the honor of officiating the ceremony. We are so thankful that we were able to be there for such a special day!
We also tackled another remodel and worked countless hours trying to make the best of the few weeks we had in the US. The days were long and hard and I have come to the realization that I cannot keep up with Mike! The man is a machine and can work 14hr days for weeks without taking time off. I, on the other hand, can work hard too, but my body needs rest after a few days, and if I don't do it I start to meltdown and cannot function. The few years that I spent not listening to my body were a hard lesson, but I hope I learned to take care of myself. Our bodies are a temple and we need to take care of spirit, mind and body. We need all 3 to be well so that we function well as a whole. I learned the hard way, so I have become better at letting myself rest and knowing that my best is different than someone else's best. Not easy!
We were able to take 4 days in between the remodel to visit Mike's mom and step dad in Florida again, and Bella, Gigi and Sophia were able to go with us. I cannot tell you how happy Mike's mom and step dad were to see the girls! We had an amazing time with them and they were very grateful that we had made the effort to be there. Family is important, and we want to be intentional with our time and about spending time with the people that God has placed in our lives. We want to live with no regrets, and we try to do our best to listen to the Holy Spirit's leading when we feel that we should be with someone. Life is precious, we know that we can be extremely busy, but God will bless your obedience and He will provide the time for you to spend with your loved ones. I have prayed about this, and asked the Lord to work our schedules, finances and to give us wisdom in how to be intentional especially with regards to our family.
Every time we are back in the US is a little different than the previous. There are times that we go home and we have a lot of family time, other times, like this past August, we worked a lot and didn't see our family very much. In October when we go home again, I know that we will have more family time, especially since we will become grandparents. We are so excited for this next season!
God has been speaking to me a lot about balance lately. Its easy to be busy here and there, but to be effective and productive I feel that you have to have balance. That is not always easy. I'm praying to know what balance looks like for us at this moment. Maybe it is taking time to rest after a few days of hard work/ministry. Maybe it is going out for coffee with a friend that you haven't seen in a while. Or disconnecting from social media for a day or a week to make sure that you can focus on things that maybe are overlooked on a daily basis if we are always too 'connected' to everything. Balance may be totally different for you than what it is for me, but I'm praying to have balance in my life and to learn to be present and live in the moment. I think these 2 things go hand in hand.
We are back in Brazil now as I write this, and Gigi is here with us for 6 weeks. I can't tell you how happy Mike and I are to have her here! We know that this was God's plan and we've started to see a glimpse of why he brought her here. It is truly a gift to us to have this opportunity to be with her before she gets married next year. We feel so blessed!
I know we'll have lots to share in the next newsletter.
This week I'm turning 45 and I'm really looking forward to this next year of life. God has been so good to me and I have so much to be thankful for and to live for. I'm ready for the birthday celebrations!
I love you all and I'm so grateful for your support, your love and your prayers.
Thank you!!!

Above Photo: On the l eft Pastor Irene, founding pastor of Comunidade Evangélica de Maringá and on the right Pastor Cleber, his wife and children from Shekinah Church in Maringá

We first went to  Maringá,
which is in Paraná state in south Brazil, to preach at Shekinah Church where Pastor Cleber is the senior pastor. We felt such a connection with this family and city and just knew deep in our hearts we would return. Well we did. As a result on our first meetings in Maringa back in November of 2017 we were invited to be the keynote preachers for the Prophetic and Intercessors conference at the Comunidade Evangélica church in Maringá. Pastor Irene founded the church at 40 years of age with her husband. Several years ago, he went to his heavenly home and Pastor Irene has led the church since. She has such a heart for revival and is open to a move of God. We certainly experienced a move of God during this conference and it carried over into their Sunday Services. The fire has been ignited.
FIRE Testimony

THE MERGING OF FIRES

During the prophetic conference at the Evangélica Communidade church, we gave a prophetic word about the merging of fires in the city for an upcoming revival.  hat was two months ago. As of the sending of this e-newsletter, this has taken place. Shekinah Church in Maringá has merged with the Evangélica Communidade church. Shekinah, a 200 member church is a church on fire, Spirit-filled and hungry for  city-wide revival. The Communidade Church, a 1200 plus member church with amazing infrastructure, history, integrity in the community and are breaking ground on a major building expansion. This church has a heart for revival, open to a move of God and has leadership willing to move forward with what the Lord wants to do.

Seeing this take place brings such joy to our hearts because we want to see not just church transformation, but city transformation leading to nation-wide revival in Brazil.  Our prayer is to be a catalyst for a move of God, stirring hunger and lighting fires of revival wherever the Lord sends us here in Brazil.

The Merging of Fires!
A Child's Cry

After the night's preaching at the Eternal Love Church in Indaiatuba, Brazil there was a young 10 year old girl who was crying uncontrollably at the altar.  We asked her what was going on. As she stuttered through the tears, she said,
" I want more of God."

This is why we do what we do.

Seeing a move of God on the heart of people, especially children is beyond description.

In the Bible, the disciples wanted to push away the children from Jesus.  In the midst of that, Jesus intervened and declared that the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  And that unless you come to the Lord with child-like faith, it is not possible to be saved.

It is the simplicity of faith combined with a passionate heart.

Throughout the thousands of meetings I have ministered in, there are faces that can never be removed from the image of my memory.  This 10 year old girl is one of those.
SOZO MOUNTAIN UPDATE

Above Photo:  Nurse Theresa from Church of the Harvest in Olathe, KS administrating care to a local child in a missions outreach in Campos do Jordão in March of 2017.

As reported in the previous e-newsletter we had the first legal official board meeting for Sozo Mountain in the City of Campos do Jordāo, Brazil.  This meeting was to approve the bylaws of Sozo Mountain.  After 3 years in the making the legal documents has been completed.  In August, the official legal paperwork has been submitted to the local government.
At the sending of this e-newsletter, we had just recently been notified by the local government that we need to make some a few necessary changes to the legal documents.  So we will be traveling back to Campos do Jordāo this September to make the paperwork changes and to sign.   We hope to have full government recognition and legal status within 60 days. Please keep praying for this process, it has been slow but we certainly see the Lord working!
COMING SOON...
SOZO LIFE
The e-newletters is going to have a name change. The new name will be SOZO LIFE.
To keep some continuity with the upcoming ministry of SOZO MOUNTAIN, we want to brand the names to have a tie-in.

SOZO means Salvation, Healing, Restoration and Deliverance. The Word is declarative in all that we are doing in Brazil in evangelism through crusades, conferences, and preaching meetings. We are seeing the hand of the Lord bringing SOZO.

When Jesus said, "I came to seek and SAVE that which is lost" the word SAVE in the original Greek is SOZO. Meaning: Salvation, healing, deliverance and deliverance. Hallelujah!

Please note that the legal ministry name will remain the same, All Nations. Sozo Life is mearly reflective of the Evangelism Work.
