33 received Jesus as Savior

A powerful three days!!!

This was our first time in this southern state of Brazil. The church had us come for 3 days of meetings to celebrate the innaguration of their new facility. The pastor and his wife moved to this agricultural area 7 years ago to plant this church.

The pastor wanted us to share with the church leadership. So on the 1st night we had a leadership only service where about 50 people were present. What a great way to start the three days of meetings. We had a great time in the word, prayer and at the altar praying together. Many tears were shed, relationships restored and passions ignited. A fire was lit and fanned into flame within the hearts of the people. If those leading and serving in the local church are battle weary and tired, they will not be effective in ministering in their calling. Taking time to invest into the precious lives of the ministry leaders is vital to the local church.

The 2nd night the church was just over half full. There was a great move of healing taking place. Dozens received miracles of healing. On the 3rd night, the church was full and extra chairs were brought in. One person invited 10 people and ALL of them gave their lives to Christ, being born again at the service. Can you imagine that? The 3rd night was intense and the power of God was moving in this place. Over the course of these meetings, 33 people were saved, giving their lives to Jesus. PRAISE GOD!!!

There are so many amazing testimonies to share with you. Below are a few that we believe will certainly bless you.

MIRACLE TESTIMONIES

Above two photos: This is a precious miracle. This woman had a hole in her foot and was bed ridden for 3 months. The open hole had recently closed. But she was left with severe foot pain and experienced difficulty standing. On the second night of the meetings there was a word of knowledge about someone's foot being healed and specifically about a hole in the foot. On the third night, this woman came to testify what happened. She said that when the Word was released about someone's foot being healed her injured food began to shake. She realized the pain was gone and that she was healed. She came to give her testimony in high heals which she said was impossible to wear because of the nerve and muscle damage to her foot. She was so grateful and said the only thing she could do was to give what precious to her, a PAIR OF EARRINGS. Truly, this was one of the most sincere moments as she expressed her gratitude. It's not easy to accept something like this, knowing that that this woman did not have much in the sense of earthly possessions and was giving the best of what she had. To receive this, was to receive her gratitude to the Lord for this miracle in her life. She showed us the pictures of the hole in her foot and truly this was a great miracle for her as her healing was made complete.

Mute boy healed!

Above Photo: The mother of this boy came forward and said, my boy is almost totally mute. I'm the only one who can understand him. The rest is history. After a short prayer this boy counted both in English and in Portuguese. He was counting so fast, he was going ahead of us. It was an incredible moment. Watch this boy count.

Born Again!

Above two Photos: 33 people gave their lives to Christ in these meetings. Truly, the greatest miracle of all, WOW!!! In this simple agricultural community, Jesus was magnified and the people responded.

"I WANT TO DRINK MILKSHAKES"

"I want to drink milkshakes" is what this little girl said. Her mom explained that just a drop of lactose would send the daughter into a severe and dangerous reaction. This girl's faith was sky high. She was prayed for on the second night where there was a great move of healing taking place. On the third night she returned with a great testimony. The mom testified that after the service the night before they went home and the daughter wanted a glass of milk. The mom explained how fear gripped her heart at her daughter's request. The little girl said, "mommy, I believe God healed me." Honestly, when I heard this I was scared, understanding the severity of her allergy. The mom continued saying that the daughter not only drank 1 glass of milk, but went on to drink an additional 2 more glasses. In total, consuming 3 full glasses of milk, AND SHE HAD NO REACTION!!!

Praise God for Child like faith!

Left Photo: This woman said it was so hard to come to church. She felt something trying to keep her from going to the meeting. She was having a lot of pain with endometriosis as well as, deep chest pain. During prayer she placed her hands on her belly and heart. She explained that she felt a weighted oppression leave her heart and she felt so free. All pain left in both her chest and abdomen. She was so overwhelmed as she tried to give her testimony. AMAZING!

Right Photo: This lady also said she struggled so much to make it to the meeting. She said she had tried to commit suicide 8 times recently and was diagnosed with schizophrenia. She mentioned she was on many medications to make it through the day and sleep at night. At the time of prayer, she described the sensation of feeling something leaving her body and peace coming in. Always a beautiful moment when deliverance comes. Hallelujah!

FACES OF HEALING

Above Photos: There are many faces and lives that were touched in these 3 days. Listing all the healings and miracles would be many. We saw the Lord heal so many infirmities, diseases and sicknesses.

God is Good and deserves all the Glory!

PRAYING OVER LOCAL PASTORS

Above Photo: There were several local pastors and their wives that were present on the third night of the meetings. We took time to cover them and the city in prayer, believing that the body of Christ would be strengthened, unified and that revival would touch the inhabitants of the city.

FIRE TUNNEL: A SPECIAL MOMENT

Above Two Photos: On the final night of the meetings after we prayed over the pastors, we had all the pastors present from the church and local community do a fire tunnel, in which the entirety of those present passed through the tunnel and had hands of blessing and prayer laid on them. EVERYONE was prayed for and received something from the LORD. A mighty and powerful moment to conclude these 3 days of revival services.

What a renewing weekend for these 120 couples from the Communidade Vinhedo church family that traveled from out of town to this quaint town tucked away in the hills. Truly a top-notch event at an amazing venue.

Débora's Column

We are completely in love with our sweet grandson! He was born on November 9, after a long and hard labor for Bella. It was the most amazing, helpless, exciting and crazy few hours. Watching your child in pain and not being able to make it better is so heartbreaking, but at the same time we got to witness first hand how determined, courageous and strong Bella is and how loving and thoughtful our son in law Mark is. It was such a gift to be a part of this incredible miracle of birth and to watch our daughter become a mom. I still can't believe Mike and I are grandparents, much less that our daughter has a baby. SO CRAZY!!!

We finally got to spend Thanksgiving here in Kansas with the family, and it was so nice to be home to celebrate.

I LOVE fall, winter and all things Christmas, so it has really been a treat to be home. We did go to Brazil for 13 days after Luca was 2 weeks old, and it was so hard to leave and especially hard to know that Bella needed help and we were going to be gone. Its never been easy when its time to go, but I'm grateful that at least this time it was only for 13 days.

Its been so nice having the family all together for the holidays. It makes my heart so happy to watch the girls, Mark and now Isaac (Gigi's fiancé) all hanging out and enjoying time with each other. We are so blessed and so thankful. I hope I never take any of these moments and gifts for granted.

2018 was an amazing year, and I'm really looking forward to 2019. Im praying to have learned from the mistakes I made, and to repeat and do better all that was right. I want to be more intentional, set more specific goals and ask the Lord what He would like me to focus on in this coming year. I don't just want to live, but I want to thrive. My prayer for you is that 2019 would be a year of much growth, healing, deliverance, breakthrough and a greater sense of His presence. I pray that you tangibly feel His love for you!

A Baby is Born...

God's Hands Extended

Pastor Sebastião came to the city of Dourados, MS 7 years ago to pioneer this church plant. He, his wife and daughter came by faith to walk in God's plan for them. After 7 years the fruit is abundant. They have made an incredible impact on this city and have an amazing reputation. They are God's hands extended in this community.

The church building that we were inaugurating with the 3 days of revival services, pastor Sebastião saw and asked God for when they originally moved to the city 7 years ago. The building was many things along the way, an agricultural feed store among them. Many pastors had approached the owner to lease it to them for a church. This place has great inside space as well as abundant parking. Parking is a rarity in Brazil, so this place was a premium facility. The owner over the years turned down all the previous church requests. But when pastor Sebastião came to the owner's office and requested the opportunity to lease the facilities, the owner said, he had heard about him and the good work they were doing for the community and said he would rent it to them. HALLELUJAH!

Received with Love

There is a Biblical principle of showing honor. We had never been to this state or met this pastor before. But he had heard about the ministry and wanted us to come for the 7 years celebration and inauguration of their new church facilities. What an honor it was and we were so lavished with love. Dourados is an Agricultural community with plenty of cattle and vegetation. The people are simple and the city is not a wealthy city. But how the wealth of love and honor was presented to us.

Above Photo: The woman in the middle was so overwhelmed with gratitude, she came to us at the end of the service. She explained that the meetings had transformed her completely. She had no money to give, but wanted to give what was precious to her, a ring. She was so humbly, with tears gave Debora her ring as her expression of love and gratitude. This really sums of the heartbeat of this community in their humility and simplicity. It truly is heart moving!

Moving Forward

We have had the great privilege of working together with pastor Luis from Vinhedo, SP Brazil. He and his wife have done an amazing work in Brazil. They oversee 23 churches that they have planted. He was instrumental in bringing us to Dourados for the 3 days of revival services.

Above Photo: We concluded the services on the last night with prayer over Pastor Luis and his family. 7 years ago, they sent Pastor Sebastião and his family to Dourados to start this church plant. A new season is beginning for Pastor Luis and his family as they are relocating to Canada in March of 2019 to start a new ministry work there. They are having a global impact in their work and its an honor for us to partner with them in declaring the Good News of the Gospel of Christ.
