Bees Are Active: Get Ready for Bee Season
_

BeesEvans Roofing was recently called out for a roof repair, once we arrived on site we noticed what was causing the issue.

For individuals who have allergies to bee stings, there’s nothing more terrifying than discovering a nest on the property.

“Bee” safe, proper and safe bee removal requires a professional with the correct tools and training. By inspecting your roof at least twice per year (and after every major storm), you can easily prevent some of the most common roofing problems.

How to Prevent Bees ?

  • Removing debris from yards including old appliances, wood piles, lawn maintenance machines, or anything that bees can use to create a hive.
  • If bees are getting inside, seal up holes and cracks in roofs, siding, and windows. Look for holes in the siding where bees could be building a nest inside the walls.
  • Keep an eye out for bees and see if they are swarming somewhere on your property. Sometimes bees build nests underground, so watching where bees are flying around your home can determine if a nest exists.
