Evans Roofing is providing this magnificent one hundred year old house with a new roof.

This historical home was built in 1916 by Mr. John Sample when he settled in the Pompano area. It served as the base for Mr. Samples farming operations which stretched from Lighthouse Point out west to Powerline Road. Mr. Sample also constructed Sample Road to reach his crop land in 1917. Are you familiar with that road?

This superior construction is now a historical museum open to the public. Evans Roofing is proud to be part of the restoration process of South Floridas heritage.

Hidden Hazards: Bees & Termites
_
Last month, Evans Roofing was called to help extract bees from a tile roof in Boynton Beach. This massive bee hive had managed to grow inside the attic completely unnoticed. The process is simple: 1 - Cut out the hive 2 - Patch the roof, and 3 - Place the tiles back. Voila! A similar event occured in Fort Lauderdale, except this time it was termites and serious. An entire termite nest made a living room ceiling collapse. The termites ate away the wood beam for too long without the owners noticing.

This past weekend the owner, Thierry Devove went to Frisco, Texas to attend the Best of Success Conference. This is an intensive 2-day conference to present new and improved ways to run roofing businesses for both commercial and residential applications. This conference gathered a dynamic series of motivational speakers and contractor panelists presenting sessions geared to help improve businesses. This conference will help Evans Roofing as we expand into a bigger and better business. Also during this visit, Thierry had a chance to explore the Dallas Cowboys headquarters!
