hero, Ulric Cross, will hit cinemas across the country during Black History Month in
October and as part of Remembrance celebrations in November.

It is an absolute pleasure to work with Evadney Campbell MBE of Shiloh PR.

As Managing Director and co-founder, Evadney brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. Her extensive work history includes her roles as former BBC broadcast journalist, author, visiting University lecturer and an international speaker/trainer travelling to Africa, Caribbean, UK and Europe.

Evadney is one the UK’s 100 most influential entrepreneurs. She is an Ambassador for Women in PR (WIPR), and a judge for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA) and the Royal Television Society Journalism Awards (RTS). 

In 1994, she was awarded an MBE by the Queen for her services to the African and Caribbean Communities in Gloucester following her dedication to charity work.


Affectionately known as ‘Lady Paulette’ , Paulette Harris-German is a multi-talented Producer, Actor, Host, TV/Radio Presenter, Voiceover Artist, Motivational Speaker and Life Coach. Her accomplished bio includes her work as a Broadcast host at the BBC, as well as roles in the award winning musical Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame , Bridget Jones Diary , Colour of Justice and Ready Player One . Paulette is currently taking bookings for her two one woman plays - Miss Florence: Tales of Windrush Nurses and Fashioning A Dream .

Paulette initially joined the Hero team as a Q&A host. She is now our Marketing Coordinator.  

As a mother of two adult sons and a foster daughter, Lady Paulette is passionate about the empowerment of her community and as such, gives motivational talks and run personal development workshops.

Meet Alt Africa Magazine, a print publication w ith its apt tagline "Arts and Culture Through a Unique Cultural Lens ". Since its launch in April 2018, their hard work has created a platform for the creative industries celebrating diversity and inclusion.
Hero had the pleasure of collaborating with Joy Coker , the prolific editor-in-chief of Alt Africa, to promote its Windrush screenings. You can read the interview with director Frances-Anne here .

Hero in its mission to share an important part of Caribbean history through its films and march to a similar beat with Alt Africa who "focuses on bespoke global events mapping the art and entertainment scene of the African Diaspora".
