Employee Retention Credit Awareness Webinar

The ERC Group is offering a webinar to provide information about a government program that provides COVID relief funding to our local economy, business owners, and nonprofits. Through this awareness program, The ERC Group has gained a massive following of local business owners, who not only claimed their ERC but have formed new relationships and opportunities through networking events. This event will take place on Google Meets on Thursday, December 15, 2022 with guest speakers from the ERC Group.

Toys for Tots Program!

Members have submitted photos of their company collections and toy contributions to the Chamber and to U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz. WOSB Federal Contract Program

Beta.Certify Home Page Refresh

In response to customer service feedback, SBA has changed the WOSB Program’s official application site URL to better help firms navigate our resources: beta.Certify.sba.gov will now be https://WOSB.Certify.sba.gov . 

This action is in line with the original intent for “beta” to be a temporary placeholder for a more permanent URL. Now that WOSB is two years into the certification process, our application site is permanent and consistent with other SBA site-naming conventions. We are confident that this change will enhance user experience and limit confusion around the application process. 

For the next 90 days, beta.Certify.sba.gov will automatically redirect to the new URL, after which time it will become obsolete. We anticipate a positive response to this change and appreciate your support in ensuring the best experience for all firms hoping to begin their federal contracting journey with the WOSB Program.

Holiday LED Light Show

Hotel Nikko Guam warmly invites you to attend the opening of Hotel Nikko Guam’s 2022 Holiday Light Show, a vibrant and lively six-minute LED light performance that everyone will enjoy. This complimentary light show is family-friendly and open to the community. Hotel Nikko Guam will host four nightly shows at the Rotunda from now till Jan. 7, 2023, at the top of each hour from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. 

For those who would like to extend this festive experience, Nikko’s lobby café, Fountain, will be open nightly to sell desserts, pastries, coffee, and cold beverages.

They are hosting a "Family Movie Night" featuring the movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" on their parking lot grounds on Friday, December 17th at 7:00 pm. Popcorn will be available for purchase. Who will be the 2022 Guam Business Magazine Executive of the Year

It's that time of year! Each year, Guam Business Magazine confers the Executive of the Year Award on a member of the community who has displayed consistent excellence in his or her professional life.

All nominations must be received by December 15, 2022. Nominations will be turned over to a selection committee composed of former Executive of the Year winners and Glimpses Media. The successful candidates will be featured on the cover of January-February 2023 issue of the Guam Business Magazine, and all nominees will be honored at a special event on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Guam.
