Celebrating Residents' Achievements

Resident "B"
A resident at our Des Moines home recently completed her high school equivalency exam! Congratulations!
Resident "H"
Our Des Moines home has a resident who is pursuing her Master's degree in Child Psychology - the first resident in Ruth Harbor's history to pursue a Master's degree while going through our program!
You Should Get to Know
Stacy Terrill,
Program Director
Stacy joined the Ruth Harbor team in July as our Program Director. In this role, Stacy will oversee and support the House Parents at both homes, and assure the quality and appropriate programming for all of our residents.
Stacy brings both ministry experience and leadership experience to her new role at Ruth Harbor. Specifically, she has served young women who have experienced unplanned pregnancies and successfully led other teams of people doing the same; and among all, demonstrated a real love for them.

"I look forward to building relationships and making eternal investments in the lives of the young moms and children we serve," said Stacy.

Stacy and her husband, Chad, have three adult children and one grandchild. Stacy's list of things she loves are junk and thrift stores, decorating her home, singing at Church, and relaxing with her family (but not necessarily in that order).
Celebrating Sandy
Sandy Braziel retired last spring after serving the Ruth Harbor Ministry for 15 years! Unfortunately, we had to postpone the celebration due to the coronavirus quarantine (it happened the very week we had planned to celebrate her).

So, we recently held a "distanced" celebrate outside Ruth Harbor Des Moines. It still wasn't exactly the type of celebration Sandy deserved, but we're pretty sure she felt thanked, loved and celebrated!
This year our Fundraising Banquet will be a VIRTUAL format.
