One of the greatest privileges of my role is having the opportunity to honor the incredible individuals who make our mission possible.
Our staff, volunteers, and board members alike pour their time, talent, and heart into ensuring our Clubs are a safe, inspiring, and empowering place for youth and I am truly fortunate to lead such a dedicated group.
On July 16, 2025, we gathered at the beautiful Oxnard Historic Farm Park for our 70th Annual Evening of Recognition and Board Installation Dinner. It was a heartwarming evening filled with gratitude, celebration, and reflection.
As with any organization, we face our share of challenges, but I remain deeply optimistic. Our Board of Directors continues to demonstrate strength, vision, and resilience, and I am confident that the future of our Clubs is bright.
A standout moment of the evening was recognizing the unwavering commitment of our Board Members with their Years of Service Pins. We celebrated milestones ranging from Dr. Tracy Blois, our standing Board Chair, receiving her 5-Year Pin, to longtime champion Richard Duarte being honored for 25 years of dedicated service. Their enduring support is a powerful reminder of the long-term impact of passionate leadership.
None of this would be possible without our dedicated Board of Directors, honorary board members, volunteers, Jeremiah Milbank Society donors, past presidents, and exceptional staff. It takes all of us, working together, to bring our mission to life, create meaningful progress, and build a lasting impact.
