Dear Yavneh Family,
We are excited to announce that our Third Annual Evening of the Arts (virtual this year) will be held this Thursday, May 13th, at 6:30 pm. The program is coordinated in conjunction with the Judah Marans Music and Art Center. The link to our virtual evening will go live on Thursday, May 13 at 6:30 pm on our school homepage www.yavnehacademy.org, and will feature an art gallery as well as musical performance by our students.
The art galleries feature creative masterpieces from Yavneh Academy students, grades 1- 8. Please take the time to “walk” through galleries and admire the works of our talented students.
This year, we have a special addition to the Evening of the Arts. The featured artwork will be available for purchase on the Evening of the Arts site as well. All purchased artwork will be matted and framed. A portion of the proceeds from each artwork purchase will benefit Yavneh’s art and music program.
The musical performances will be available for viewing either by watching a continuous performance or by clicking videos of the individual performers. Please join us as we celebrate the supremely talented musicians in our school!
We express our hakarat hatov to our art teacher, Mrs. Malky Kazam, and to our music teacher, Mrs. Marsha Motzen, for their efforts in coordinating this evening and inspiring our students in art and music
We are very proud of the accomplishments of our featured artists and musicians and hope you join us on Thursday evening!
Sincerely,
Rabbi Jonathan Knapp, Head of School
Rabbi Steven Penn, Associate Head of School
