Hello, my beautiful Good Shepherd Sheepies!

If you're looking for a new way to engage with Holy Week this year, I happily recommend "Holy Week with Jesus." It was started by a friend of mine a few years ago, and now has graduated into a real thing with a partnership my seminary! If you sign up for the texts, you'll get real time updates during Holy Week. In the past, these have been just the right mix of thoughtful, thought provoking, and a bit of tongue-in-cheek. I hope you'll walk along with us and Jesus this week.

Text 1-833-510-5006 to sign up!

Hymns and Music of Lent Tickets, Thu, Mar 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM | Eventbrite

This week, we give a grateful goodbye to Ernest Jones, our bookkeeper for the last several years. Ernest has been absolutely instrumental in operational continuity during our time of transition, and we literally couldn't have done it without him. It's very hard to see him go, as he has enjoyed working with us, and we with him. If you'd like to write him a note, please send it to the church office and we'll make sure it gets to him.

We're also officially welcoming Penny Neville, our new bookkeeper. Over the last few weeks, she has been working with Ernest and Bill Walker to get into the swing of things, and she's picking things up fast. Penny will be at our 10:30 service and coffee hour THIS SUNDAY if you'd like to come greet her. Her email is pneville@goodshepherdrmt.org, so if you have a question about giving or anything else, she's your gal. Penny flunked retirement (in the best way, right?) so she's here to work with us. Just like Jesus sent us Ernest, Jesus sent us Penny, and we're in good hands.

Penny loves spending time with her family, especially visiting the beach together. She and her husband a blended family of four children together, with one grandson and another on the way in June. Penny also loves to read and to work out, and is hardworking and kind. We already love her, and know you will too.
