EVENT : 2018 Technology Woman of the Year (TWY) Awards Breakfast
On Thursday, April 26, Digital Rochester (DR) will be celebrating 19 nominees and announcing winners of the 2018 Technology Woman of the Year Award at an awards breakfast. In addition to the Technology Woman of the Year award, Digital Rochester added a new category this year to honor rising professionals - Emerging Technology Woman of the Year. Both awards were established to recognize, celebrate, and make visible the achievements of women in high technology fields.

In recognition of Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day and New York State's "If You Can See It, You Can Be It" initiative, which encourages girls to enter "non-traditional" occupations and pursue positions of leadership in all fields, DR is inviting attendees to bring their sons and daughters to the inspirational awards breakfast.

This year's TWY ceremony will begin with a keynote address by Carey Anne Nadeau, Founder and CEO of Open Data Nation. Her keynote topic is "From Girlpower to Ladyboss".
