Playground Lights - I am working on them! I do not know why they did not come on last night as they were just reprogrammed to come on earlier, but I will figure it out ASAP. I apologize for the short play times right now. I hope to have it fixed today.
Pumpkins - if you left your pumpkins or anything at the event, please pick them up today. The pumpkins will be placed in the flower bed by the office as decor until then.
Raffles were donated by local businesses and the Association:
HT Fitness (present at the event) - 2 month free membership, several containers of workout drink.
Chuy's - Two gift certificates for a complimentary app, dinner, dessert for 2. Free Appetizer Coupons. Those were given out to the crowd. I tried to make sure everyone received one.
Cottonwood Creek Brewery - A logo drinking glass, koozie, and a gift card!
Clean Etc. - Water bottles
Association - phone lights, kids themed bag with stickers and candy, dog themed bag with doggie waste bags, dog treats, and a dog toy, irrigation timer for the hose bib. Most of these raffles were gathered at local expos and training events.
Sponsors and Vendors:
Landmark Aquatics, our pool vendor, paid for our face painter Brie. She did an amazing job! Thomas McNamara was present at the event. I hope you got to say hi!
Sunscape Landscape, our landscaper, brought the pumpkin activity! I hope you had lots of fun creating. Scott Knussman, our Account Manager was present at the event. He is often seen around the community with and without the crews. Scott also bought the Association the golf game! Not present was Chloe Fletes, the business development guru. She helps organize the sponsorships alongside Scott and I. She is part of the behind the scenes magic. You may have met her at last year's NNO or the plant bar for the Landscape Seminar earlier this year.
Aironx HVAC represented by Dan, the owner was there giving out information on residential heating and cooling. He is the Association's vendor, but also does a lot of residential work. While the Association can't directly refer anyone, we do have a good working relationship with Dan and feel he would give you the same customer service that he provides for the Association.
HT Fitness, new local gym, had their own raffle besides the 2 things they donated to the Association to raffle. The gym is super nice and easy to get to off Highway 79 and Tradesman Park Dr (which turns into Star Ranch Rd when you cross the tracks). I hope you were able to meet the managers, Hunter, Melissa, and Cristina!
Hutto ISD's Engagement Department joined us again. They did the Reading Ready Bus Tour earlier this summer. Stephen Balderas is a wealth of information for parents and students. We hope to continue this partnership for years to come!
Temple College's Joe DeLeon joined us to hand out information about one of our local colleges. This is a great school with Associates, Bachelors, and even Masters programs. All located off off Innovation Blvd off Limmer Loop! There are several colleges represented inside the East Williamson County Education Center.
TX DPS K9 - While Trooper Esparza wasn't able to bring out her K9, she was excited to join her partner and give the kids a demonstration of the PA system and sirens! The K9 is still new to the force and had not attended such a large event. So for the safety of all involved, the decision was made to not bring her out.
Hutto ISD PD, Hutto PD, WilcoSO - What a turnout for our local first responders! The parking lot was FULL of their vehicles and officers. There were some high ranking officers there, too, which was so thoughtful and awesome for them to join us.
Hutto Fire Rescue - Always a hit! The kids loved the truck and the firemen giving them the tour.
EMS - This was a fun surprise! In all of my years throwing National Night Out parties, I have not had the luck for EMS to stop by for the kids. I hope everyone was able to see the truck and talk to the paramedics!
Crepe Crazy Food Truck - This is a highly sought after food truck. I hope you enjoyed the yummy dishes they cooked up! This business is a run by employees and owners who are deaf, which is pretty unique to the industry.
Epic Entertainment - Brie, the face painter, did some BEAUTIFUL designs on the kiddos! If you need a painter, she can be requested through Epic Entertainment.
Clean Etc, our janitorial team, bought the cornhole game for the Association. We have made good use out of it for multiple events!
