The City of Long Beach is updating its Noise Element and wants your input!
Join us tomorrow evening for a second study session where you will have another chance to revisit, review and provide input on the new draft version of the Noise Element! The second study session will be held both online and in-person at the following Planning Commission meeting:

The second study session will take place at the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting, but no formal action will be taken by the Commission.
What is the Noise Element?
The Noise Element is a chapter of the City of Long Beach General Plan that sets forth policies regarding noise and land use throughout Long Beach. It aims to create a better quality of life for residents with equitable distribution of noise and minimized exposures to excessive noise.
The Draft Noise Element will be available for public review through December 1, 2022. To learn more, visit the Development Services Department webpage.
