First, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. The Wild Wine, Beer and Food Safari is one of the Zoo’s largest fundraisers. Your support to this event has a direct impact on our mission of providing a wonderfully wild experience to guests through education, conservation, research and exceptional guest experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Zoo this Saturday for the party that will kickoff our summer! We've compiled some important information and tips below to help you plan for this wild night out! (Please forward this email to anyone in your party who we may not have an email for!)

GETTING HERE:

CARPOOL OR RIDESHARE! We strongly suggest carpooling or using a rideshare app as we are expecting 1,200 guests + vendors, staff, and volunteers.

CHECKING IN - Have your email confirmations at the ready (on your phone or printed) showing you have tickets to the event. If you can't find your email, no worries! We will also have your name at the gate.

IMPORTANT TIMES

5:00 PM Our SOLD OUT VIP hour begins in the Education Amphitheatre.

6:00 PM Gates will open to attendees - let the safari begin!

8:15 PM Silent auction closes.

8:30 PM Last pour of alcohol.

9:00 PM Event concludes and gates are closed to the Zoo.

Lucky Ducks!

Make sure you visit the fountain to try your luck at catching a "Lucky Duck". The fountain will be filled with rubber ducks - some of which are marked "lucky" on the bottom. You have a one in four chance of winning.

$20 to play - gets your three chances to catch a 'lucky duck" and choose a great prize!

Remember to bring cash!

Visit the Carousel

Our Silent Auction will be held in the carousel!

Make sure to register for the silent auction prior to attending the safari to make for the best experience! Everyone making a bid must be registered with a card on file.

At 8:15 PM the auction will close. All winners will receive a text/email to their phone to come to the carousel to receive their winning lot!

Week In Block Island?

Casa Havana Cigar Lounge is a newly reopened cigar lounge located at 446 Main Street, Monroe, CT. Casa Havana will donate 10% of your purchases at the event to the Beardsley zoo. Parag Patel, owner of Turnpike Spirit Shop is a new partner of this business. Stop by their table at the event!
