Business Solutions and Resources
As we settle into our new normal, we are working diligently to provide member businesses, both big and small, with the tools and resources necessary to help see you to the other side of this crisis. In the coming days, expect to receive additional information from local partners and affiliates such as the Small Business Development Center as to the resources available for your unique needs and challenges.
Similar to any major natural disaster, the Coronavirus will have a significant impact on workers, businesses, and the economy. No family should face financial ruin because of a loss of income and no business should go bankrupt because of a temporary loss in revenue as a result of the Coronavirus.

To that end, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is calling on Congress to pass a Coronavirus response package that provides immediate relief to Americans workers and their families by extending unemployment insurance benefits and providing two weeks of paid sick leave.

  1. Legislation canceling payment of all payroll taxes paid by employers for the months of March, April, and May
  2. Legislation expanding and streamlining loan programs for small businesses
  3. Legislation enabling the creation of credit facilities to provide loans and loan guarantees to employers with more than 500 employee
We'll keep you posted as these and other efforts materialize. In the meantime, please visit us online to view our Tools for Business member resource, containing over 1400 links to key information from federal, state, county, and municipal sources. This section is updated frequently, so check back often.
