International Tree Day - FREE Tree Giveaway
International Tree Day is on Sat. April 9, 2022. The City of Largo Parks Department is highlighting this day with a FREE tree giveaway program at McGough Nature Park, located at 11901 146th Street North, Largo 33774.
Our Parks Division is giving away 180 - 3 gallon trees on a first come, first serve basis between 9am-1pm.
Staff encourages early arrival for the best selection with a limit of two trees.
Types of trees that will be distributed are listed below:
Live oak, American elm, Simpson’s stopper, Red maple, Red cedar, Bald cypress, Slash pine, Gumbo limbo.
