Today marks 8 months since I opened that doors as the new owner of Ball & Skein & More. Time has really flown by!

This newsletter is primarily focused on sharing upcoming events and new classes.

Saturday June 8th is Worldwide Knit in Public Day and another opportunity to socialize with fellow stitchers. Bring your project and stitch outside with your local stitching community.

I jumped on the summer tee knitting bandwagon and created this stunning piece using Cotonella by Lana Grossa.

Sweater Knitting starts next Wednesday, June 12th in the shop and there's still plenty of room. And local legend Kris Gregson will be back in the shop teaching Fixing Mistakes on Saturday July 20th.

There are 2 new online class offerings in July and August to Learn to Knit Socks and to Learn to Knit the Baby Surprise Jacket!

Tonight (June 5th) is Sip & Stitch!

"Better Living Through Stitching Together" has been the mission for World Wide Knit in Public Day since it started 19 years go. The event is unique, in that it's the largest knitter run event in the world!

On Saturday June 8th, bring your project or pick up a new project and Stitch in Public! In addition to the 2 public benches in front of the shop, I'll provide chairs and snacks along the shop sidewalks from 1-4PM.

If you're not able to join us in Cambria, I encourage you to take a break in your day and enjoy some pubic stitching!

Drop by the shop on Sunday June 30th from 12 - 2PM to meet Local Indie Dyer Heather Wiebe from Smirligans Fibers.

I have been selling her Bird Series yarns in the shop and online and I will be introducing her California Native Flowers yarns next week!

All Smirligans yarns will be discounted 10% during this event.
