Thrifty Specialty Produce & Meats annual roundup fundraiser supports The Children's Hunger Project at their Palm Bay and Rockledge locations. COCOA VILLAGE MAINSTREET FUNDRAISER

On Saturday, July 19^th Cocoa Village Main Street will host a fundraiser for The Children’s Hunger Project. Local merchants are coming together at the Porcher House, 434 Delannoy Ave. in Cocoa 32922 for this event, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to help feed hungry children locally. Items sold will include jewelry, pet gifts, home goods, clothing and art. Raffles and prizes!

TCHP DRIVERS AND LEAD PACKERS SPECIAL TREAT

In June, we treated our amazing drivers and lead packing volunteers to a fun night out at Pockets and Putters in Rockledge!

It was the perfect way to close out another fantastic school year and celebrate the incredible achievement of feeding 4,800 children every week. We couldn’t do it without this dedicated team!

TCHP THANKS SPACE COAST JEEP CLUB

The Space Coast Jeep Club hosted their Summer Rollout this month at Intracoastal Brewing Company. This event featured a Jeep showcase, raffles, a special beer release, and was a fundraiser for our kids! Many thanks to all who participated, supported, attended and enjoyed this great event with our community partners!

EDEN TIMMONS, TCHP LEAD PACKER IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Eden Timmons, one of TCHP's dedicated lead packing volunteers, is preparing to take the stage this July in Orlando as she competes for the title of National American Miss Teen Florida. Currently holding the title of Ms. Merritt Island, Eden chose to complete her volunteer hours with TCHP, where her impact has been felt deeply by our team and the children we serve. Eden is the daughter of Tamara Timmons, another one of our lead packers and one of the leaders of the TCHP ministry group at Georgianna Church in Merritt Island. The National American Miss (NAM) pageant is designed to help today’s young women grow in confidence, leadership, and self-expression—values Eden lives out each time she volunteers! We’re honored to be part of her journey and wish her the very best of luck.

MOST VALUABLE PACKERS

Disney Cruise Line is proud to support TCHP in Brevard County! Crew members from the Disney Magic helped pack nearly 700 weekend meal kits, so local students have nutritious food to take home on the weekend. Together, we’re helping kids return to school ready to learn!
