MEMBERS BIBLE STUDY SUGGESTIONS
|
Previously, we shared this Bible Study idea.
Some chapters have used the Serendipity Bible as a guide for facilitating a Bible study for chapters and other study groups. It can be for personal use and small groups. This Bible has a specially prepared insert for 60 Felt-Need Courses around the following topics: Men, Women, Singles, Marriage, Parenting, Youth, Marketplace, Spirituality, Special Needs, and Recovery. Each topic/theme has Beginner and Advanced Options with the discussion techniques using Margin Questions. In addition to the Felt-Needs study, there are Topical Study, Book Study, and Lectionary-Based sections for a robust Bible Study program.

Evangelism à la Brotherhood
On the Episcopal Church website you will find the following:
"Evangelism FOR the Church"
We will reclaim and practice evangelism.
"We will expand the number and diversity of people who engage
the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement."
Evangelism – 101 ....is a current program to guide and assist parishes and Brotherhood chapters to become more engaged in evangelism.
Evangelism 101 is a not-so-basic training designed to introduce a fresh, humble, effective, and Episcopal approach to the spiritual practice of evangelism. Currently, only facilitated by members of the Episcopal Evangelism Team, the training lasts from one to five hours. The downloadable Participant Guide + Handouts include a host of resources for understanding the Jesus Movement, redefining evangelism, organizing a revival, sharing our stories, walking the neighborhood, improving hospitality, and more.

This Epiphany, we will proclaim that we recognize Christ alive and moving wherever people are looking, acting, and loving like Jesus. Bishop Curry will invite Episcopalians to commit afresh to becoming vibrant, loving, healing, truth-telling embodiments of Jesus and his light—in our communities and in our nation.
The worship service will feature the witness and voice of a diversity of people who are the face of Christ—from ordained Episcopal ministers to unhoused people who are also leading the church. Artists will include Kory Caudill, composer and musical director for Concert for the Human Family, and Chanda Leigh Adeogba, lead musician for Imagine Church-Atlanta.
Bishop Curry also will offer a videotaped address to the nation later that day.
