Happy New Year, everyone!
Hope the holidays were good.
Here's what's going on this week...

SUNDAY: Free Infant/Toddler Massage Class

Our very cool new neighborhood childhood education facility is offering the community a free infant/toddler massage class this Sunday from 11-12:30.

Families with children of infants and toddlers (aged 3 to 24 months) are encouraged to attend this special weekend training. All you need to bring is your child and a small blanket. Our session will cover the following topics:

  • Creating quality time between parents and their child
  • Creating a routine before bedtime or after bath time
  • Promoting sleep
  • Improving circulation
  • Calming fussy children

Refreshments and light food will be served.
Navita Ramlakhan has been an infant & toddler educator and administrator for 20 years, specializing in many aspects of child development. In this session, Navita will cover the benefits of massage as well as train parents in how to do them at home.

New moms have been getting to know each other every week at a great location in Chelsea, led by a wonderful lactation consultant and parent coach--come with your questions!
First visit is free for members.

WVP Parent Hack: Take Your 3 year old skiing!
Did you know family-friendly skiing is an easy drive away at Campgaw Mountain ? We went for a day trip and got a private lesson for our three-year old, while we got a few runs in right next to her lesson.
It was easier than we could have thought, and just a one-hour drive from the city. Snow tubing fun available, too!
