Mile High 420 Festival Returns to Civic Center Park
The Mile High 420 Festival will create significant challenges throughout downtown during a work-week, just as City and County of Denver and other downtown offices are re-opening. The event is expected to draw 30,000 attendees to the Civic Center Park on Wed, April 20, starting at noon.

In addition to parking, traffic, noise and other impacts on the day of the event, festival set-up will occur on Mon, April 18 and Tues, April 19 and tear-down will take place on Thurs, April 21. Many details for this adult-centric event are still developing - check out the event website for the most up-to-date information.

The following road closures are scheduled beginning at 6 am on Mon, April 18 and extending through 10 pm on Thurs, April 21:
  • 14th Ave. between Cherokee St. and Broadway will be closed and meter parking unavailable.
  • Bannock St. between 13th Ave. and 14th Ave. will be closed and meter parking unavailable. Limited access to parking lots will be maintained.
Cherry Creek Sneak Fills Denver Streets on April 24
The 40th Annual Cherry Creek Sneak returns to Denver streets on Sunday, April 24, 7 am to noon. The run includes 10-mile, 5-mile, and 3.1-mile (5k) routes that close several streets around the Cherry Creek Shopping Center area and in and around Cheesman Park. After the running and walking is done, there’s an after-party expo on 1st Ave between Steele St and Monroe St and features food, drinks, music and vendors.
