Colerain Chamber Newsletter | March 2020 | Issue 50
Chamber President Dave Moravec
I want to thank you all for the warm welcome. I've spent the last month touring local businesses, engaging in conversations with members and meeting with other Ohio Chambers to learn how to better serve all of you.
Our team has planned some great events for March.
Third Thursday will resume on March 19 at Vinokolet. And you won't want to miss our
Leadership Breakfast on March 26 featuring updates on Township projects and Northwest Schools and a delicious meal from Red Squirrel.
Be sure to circle
April 30 on your calendars for this year's
Hometown Heroes program - that's right - we are honoring more than one individual this year - so you won't want to miss it!
I'm also excited to launch the
Colerain Chamber Golf League. It will be a great opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members and enjoy the great outdoors. See information below on how to sign up.
Stay up-to-date on Chamber activities and benefits and the learn more about fellow member businesses by following us on

Our Next Big Event: Leadership Breakfast on Thursday, March 26
Please join us for a hot breakfast and good conversation on
March 26, 7:15 - 8:45 a.m. at the Houston Early Learning Center, as we welcome community leaders
Northwest Schools Superintendent Todd Bowling,
Colerain Township Assistant Administrator Jeff Weckbach, and a representative from
Kroger to discuss
Township projects. Breakfast will be provided by Red Squirrel.
The event is open to both members of the Colerain Chamber of Commerce as well as non-member business staff and the general public.
Please register by March 23; seating will be limited to the first 60 registrants.
The league will start May 6 and run for 18 weeks at Pebble Creek Golf Course in a 9 hole format (front 9 one week, back 9 the next) with tee times beginning at approximately 4:45 p.m. each Wednesday. In the inaugural year we will be limited to 25 golfers on a first come first served basis through the online registration or an email directly to me at President@colerainchamber.org.
First 20 to sign up as regular players will be placed on a team; the first 5 asking for an "alternate" position will be assigned those spots; additional alternate spots may be needed. (Note: some players may have conflicts from time to time. Alternates will fill in when necessary). This is handicap based, and every skill level will be able to compete within their playing level.
