Hello Wyckoff Public Library Community,
June is a busy time of year often filled with celebrations! We hope that during this time you are able to drop in for a program with your families. We have plenty of events for kids, teens and adults.
Two I'd like to highlight are:
On June 8th meet Wyckoff native and author, Terri-Lynne-DeFino. She will talk about her latest hit novel Varina Palladino's Jersey Italian Love Story. Described as “Fun and funny, wonderfully exuberant, and incredibly wise. These endearing characters—their voices and stories— will be with me for a long time to come. I didn’t want to say good-bye.” by Jill McCorkle. No purchase is necessary to attend and you don't have to read the book in advance.
Yankee fans and non-Yankees fans alike will be thrilled to meet Roy White and hear from his biographer, Paul Semendinger. They will discuss Roy’s playing career with the Yankees, his experiences playing baseball in Japan, and so much more. Registration is required for this special book launch and appearance to be held on June 15th.
If you can't make it in person, consider checking out an item from our digital collection - books, audiobooks, movies, music and magazines!
Keep an eye out for announcements regarding our Summer Reading Clubs that will run from June 21-August 31. Participants of all ages are encouraged to read or listen to books of their choice while earning prizes. There will be many engaging and enriching programs offered throughout the summer.
See you at the library soon!
Thank you for your support,
Laura Leonard
