The Kreeger Museum is graciously giving a tour of the Sculpture Garden at 3:30* and providing a wonderful networking session after the meeting in the Sculpture Terrace.

Did you know? The Kreeger Museum's Sculpture Garden includes works from six local female artists!

DC Collaborative Connecting to Curriculum Workshop with DCPS Social Studies

How can partners bring learning to life for students? In this session, partner members of the DC Collaborative will engage with the DC Public Schools Social Studies Team to hear about opportunities for connecting to students, teachers, and schools in support of social studies learning experiences. Participants will learn details about the inquiry-based approach to instruction used in DCPS, details of the K-12 social studies curriculum, and examples of effective partnerships.

DC Collaborative Connecting to Curriculum Workshop with DCPS Arts

Mary Lambert, Director of the Arts for DCPS, will engage participants in a 'walk-through' of the DCPS Framework for Arts Learning and the DCPS Arts Unit Design Structure. These will be examined with foci on the recent additions made to the arts curriculum, an overview of the rollout for DCPS teachers and how organizations can use the Framework as a platform for collaboration and connection.

The Monroe Trust Artist Collective Presents SUNDRY | Contemporary Artworks by Glenn Fry and Photography by Charlie Gaynor

Exhibiting at The former Adamson Gallery the hosted reception will feature a range of popular culture subject matters from classic magazine ads and celebrities, to currency and other recognizable items from our American culture. Signature apparel will also be available for purchase based on two images from the exhibition. Light refreshments will be served compliments of Citchen Krazy.
